- Gutthi ( The Riddle ) is a story about a night-long conversation between a writer, Anand Rajan, and a garbage collector, Khalil. A night that leads to shocking revelations and the unlocking of several mysteries in their lives. Anand Rajan, who is a noted writer, is suffering from writer's block, when he catches Khalil, the garbage collector going through his dustbin.He then invites Khalil over for a session of weed and what unfolds is something nobody will anticipate.

this movie came in my recommended list many times. but when I started watching something but couldn't continue , then one bored day just watched half the way through realised. .it's a terrific story. guys please have some patience and continue to watch it. trust me you won't be dissapointed. it's a great script. the story is way beyond awesome and khalil miya is too good with his expressions and charecter potrayal. this movie deserves way too many views and appreciations.
writing this after just 4 min of watching this short film, see the intensity in the eyes of dustbin guy while searching though the trash, brilliant!!
At the end the writer realizes that he didn't told Khalil that the person chopped off was a boy or girl... But at 07:50 Khalil said - Marne ke baad LADKI poore gayab... The director had given us clue of the conclusion in the starting minutes only........

@@protuber1283 Khalil was the murderer and the partner of that girl. The girl cheated Khalil by giving him the sculpture of salt as he loved the writer and can't betray him. But Khalil when came to know this he killed the girl but forgot that 2 pieces of fingers so initially he told that police was in search of him. Khalil also told ladki puri gayab but writer never told that a boy or a girl was killed. Khalil also told that once those murderers set eye on their prey they never lose it and the prey was writer who was killed by poison in ganja by Khalil. And he also told " kaha se marke nikal jate hai pata hi nhi chalta "

Really great script. loved it. dialogues are also very nice. but the dialogue delivery rather looks too artificial. also the narration voice is very weak. loved the concept. great work guys but soft aspects are missing.

How many short films have you made so far? Instead of pointing out mistakes why can't encourage it becomes some big brand film production.
Excellent story played out with so many twists and turns. The lead actor playing the writer is extremely film handsome and a very expressive actor. The fellow playing the garbage fanatic was a very fine dramatic presence in the film. The story was genuinely as provocative as a suspenseful life just might be in reality...even kind of horrifying! Very nice and impressive job with this short film

Watched both Akhri Sawari & Gutthi .. Gutthi was better ... However the actor playing Anand Rajan seemed a bit less confident .. Khalil was superb .. excellent dialogues, perfect body language .. waiting for the next one ..
