I love how the father, so far, is not accused of anything. Yet he was part of the vlogging until recently. They were his kids, even if he didn't live with them. He is as responsible as the abuser.
if that's considered child labor in Germany, i'm gonna go to jail, not because I'm a family blogger, it's because i own a cobalt mine and i mainly employ children
The most infuriating and sad part about stories like this is that people attempt to tell cops about their torment and never get taken seriously. Even on multiple occasions.
In my experience it's not that the cops dont take it seriously its that they dont care/want to deal with the situation. In my early 20s my egg donor took my keys when I was trying to go to work so I decided to walk. She tracked me down with my own car and was coming up over the curb after my trying to hit me- lucky I had a cell phone and I called the Cops(the station was like 2 blocks away so they got there fast). The. Cops absolutely saw my egg donor driving over the curb after me(she stopped when they hit the siren). Her 'side' of the story is I was having a mental episode and she and my half sister who was in the car was just trying to get me to go home. Cops 'resolved' the situation by letting her drive off in my car telling her to leave me be. Egg donor after that must have called my brother as he showed up shortly after trying to drive me to work and said it was fucked up I called the cops on our egg donor. So the whole situation got spun to the family that I was crazy.
Well at least if you do get taken seriously, something can be done about it. In most of the world, if your parents go to jail, you'll end up on the streets or possibly trafficked. So it's either abusive parents or abusive traffickers for you.
I couldn’t imagine withholding food and a warm bed from a child all for “punishment” I’m glad this little boy was strong enough to run and get help. Bless his heart
In a way, I’m glad family vlogging is a thing, because in cases like this, it can help put abusive parents behind bars- and with luck, get the kids to a safer place with proper care- emphasis on the *luck* part because I know that ain’t always the case-
Did no one see red flags when she threatened to: 'take away the privilege of eating dinner'? As someone who has never heard of this story until now I am shocked that no one realised that that is not an appropriate threat yo her kids.
The way she laughed about taking the bed away is sickening. Worst part is im sure alot of the viewers & subscribers are there because of the children so theyre treating them like cash cows & then mistreat the reason why theyre successful
Well, being in my 80s now I've learned one valuable lesson about parenting your children. If you want them to respect and care for you when YOU'RE the one who needs THEIR help, then love, kindness and the giving of your time are the best three options I can think of. My children are always there for me and my husband now and when I asked them why, they replied, "because you were always there for us."
This reminds me of the House of Horrors Turpin family where the girl escaped and they were all malnourished too, except the youngest, who really hadn't been exposed to the neglect long enough to be considered malnourished yet. 😢
