I actually believe Tai when he says he never lifted weights. Guys like him, Mark Hunt, the Tafa brothers have the ability to easily put on weight & they're naturally strong. Conditioning is the vast majority of Tai's work in the gym so that he can stay within the heavyweight limit of 265lbs and also have decent cardio.

No, right at the start of the interview Cormier doing his usual weird alpha dominance thing he always does and then touches Tai on the shoulder which Tai clearly hates. He then spends the rest of the interview trying to get Tai to like him.
