This is the best video I have seen so far since last two weeks. I will be watching it again several times. Thanks for video contents and tours.
Thanks for watching.
I miss Rome a lot. God bless this beautiful and peaceful city.
Excellent explanation and spoken in a very understandable way...thanks.
Thanks for the walk thru. No surprises when we get off the plane now.
Heading to Rome in April, and our hotel is near Roma Termini. Your video helped us decide on taking the train. Thank you.
I'm glad my video helped you. Enjoy your trip.
Most helpful video we've watched yet (and we've watched quite a few). Thanks.
Thank you. I'm glad you found it useful. It can be very confusing coming to a country for the first time. I do these videos so people are not overwhelmed and are least familiar with what it looks like and where to go.
ONMG, that was the bomb! Best video ever, to get prepared to go to Rome! Thank you!

Very helpful. Thank you.
Great video! Detailed, fully explained both visually and vocally. I happen to ❤️ staying around Piazza Navonna. I like the location and everything I want to do is a spits throw from there ... but that’s just me.
Thank you. I like staying in regular neighborhoods because they are cheaper than the heart of Rome and I like to see how regular Italian neighborhoods are like.
Thank you so much for this great Video
Great video!

You're welcome
Thanks, great explanation!! I would like to hear more about night buses option, the ticket offices are available after midnight also ?
I don't know about night buses.
Very Helpful video! Will be our first time in Europe in a few weeks. Thinking about taking the train to Termini. What is the situation for luggage on the train? We will have a large suitcase and carry-on each.
There is plenty of room for luggage on the train.
❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your vid, very helpful!
Again where should I validate the train ticket?
The machines at the front of the platform scan your ticket and only let you onto the platform if it is valid so there is no other validating you need to do if I remember correctly.
To Go Is To Know thank u!
I have to tell you, this was pretty great. Well done. $16 for the train seems like a no brainer. When buying these tickets, can they download to an Iphone (barcode) or is it more of a pay at the kiosk type of setup?
Thank you. I don't know if you can download it to your phone. There are ticket machines and manned ticket booths right there by the trains.
@@ToGoIsToKnow Perfect, thanks man
Excellent video. Exactly what I was looking for. What would you recommend for 3 travelers? it seems the taxi will cost the same as the Leo train? I will be arriving on a weekday at 11:30 am. Also, Im staying in the Flaminia area. I would need to take the metro from Roma Termini? Thanks again!
When you could share the taxi fare with 3 people, I think it makes sense to take a taxi.
Confirm the meter / fare. The train is a nice scenic way to arrive v chaotic roman roads
Hey! This is a great video! Just got one question... is it a long que on ticket for bus?:) thank you!
Thank you. The line for bus tickets is not usually long. Probably less than a 5 to 10 minute wait.
To Go Is To Know thank you again great video!
Thank you for this. Now will the falling value of the Euro, it is $USD 14!
Yes, the ticket prices keep going up.
What would you suggest for getting to Trastevere from Tremini? I’m seeing so many different recs!
I don't know the most up to date info. I haven't been in Italy in a few years.
Question, If I wanted to stop at another train station like St Pierre, it doesnt require a transfer? the express stops at various stations?
I don't remember.
What about if I want to go to Civivecchia? We're arriving a day before our cruise departure from this city so instead of spending a day in the city center in Rome, we just plan to spend the day in Civivecchia if there's something to see there and at least enjoy the convenience of being near the cruise port already. What do you think. All your inputs would be appreciated . Thanks
I don't know anything about Civivechhia.
@@ToGoIsToKnow That's ok I was just hoping you knew but thanks for the reply
Enjoy your trip!
It depends if there is a strike. They occur frequently and may be a source of anxiety. Ask early that day at your hotel or consider a shuttle bus etc as an alternative. The freccarisa is faster but less frequent than regional train. But prone to strikes if ....
👍
I'm going to Rome in May. My hotel (The Hive) is 1/3 mile from Termini (in the direction of Trevi). I'll arrive at Termini around noon and intend to walk to the hotel (pulling a small wheeled luggage). I've heard that the area around Termini isn't safe. Any advice is appreciated.
I did a video of Termini as well. It is fine during the day. At night I wouldn't recommend walking around the area wearing jewelry or flashing money. Just walking through even at night you will be okay.
Its fine but crossing busy streets in traffic is very slow. Pavements quite uneven.Roller bags wont be easy. It is slightly downhill or level enough. A taxi from termini isnt costly and more relaxed
@@paulgerrard9227 Thanks Paul. I'll still give it a go. It will be my first street walk (wait, that doesn't sound right) so I want to take in my first Rome experience.
Hi my name is Ryan I am travelling in 3 weeks I have huge anxiety I was wondering if there is bathrooms on these type of vehicles ?
I don't remember seeing bathrooms on the train.
Go to toilet at Airport before getting on train
Are all the taxis small sedans or do they also have minivans for families?
I don't remember if I saw a minivan.
hlello sir may i ask if there is internet line that you can buy inside the airport ?
What is an internet line? A sim card for data on your cell phone? I'm sure you can buy that here.
trenitalia is the leo express train at the airport ?
Yes
Can one solo sr.male tourist safely stay at FCO airport overnight to catch early morning flight at 6.30 am ?pl guide me.
I'm not sure if they close at night. If they stay open, it is probably fine.
How many minutes is the distance of walking to reach the train station ;
I don't remember. I walk fast so it was probably 5-7 minutes with no luggage.
If I'm arriving at 10pm what would be your suggestion?
It depends where you are going. The bus or the Leo Express are both good choices.
do online tickets need validation?
I believe so, otherwise you would be able to us it multiple times.
man they need to give Fiumicino Airport a massive makeover, always thought it dull and uninspiring
Why do you have to validate your ticket since you already paid for it?
I believe it is because if you don't validate it then you can reuse it again and again unless a worker on the train checks your ticket.
Price of ticket????
I believe I said it in the video. I think it was 11 Euros. It was a few years ago so I'm sure it is a little more now.
SUPER helpful!!!! Thank you!!!
Glad it was helpful!
