Bobi Klintman is an amazing asset He is the 37th pick and still a solid shooter
he definitely should have been a 1st round pick. All rounded centre/pf, can shoot, can play tough defense, has length, can pass, the best match with cade

Tobias has been consistently an above average scorer on good volume for a #3 option. Him and Fontecchio bring a different scoring and size dynamic for Cade.

Someone who’s gonna tap into the potential of these young guys, getting them to get better at what they already are good at and getting them stronger where they are weak at. I think they in the same position as last year. Not from the standpoint of losing 36 straight games , but from the stand point of this roster still doesn’t make any sense . I see a bunch of young players , I won’t even say young and that good lol just young players and Tobias Harris. What is our identity lol do we want to be shooters , defenders , fast pace , slow paced , I have no clue looking at this roster what pistons will excel at

I really wish you would have talked abt JI a bit more. No he isn’t the most efficient shooter, but transition numbers and rim pressure skyrocket when he’s on the floor. With better spacing and with his first step at his size, he should take a stride this year as well

I hate when people run with a media created narrative. Cade and Jaden can and has played well together in their less than one season side by side. Can't trust what you saw from the idiotic coaching we were reduced to seeing last season.
Also, 35% from 3 is efficient since 36.6% is the league average. Making 1 out of every 3 has always been decent, and bad when you connect on less than that. 2 out of 5 is the cream of the crop.
There's been too much made of Ivey and Cade's fit. 2 ballhandlers are needed and they both need to learn how to play on and off the ball.
Also, Ivey started the season shooting 50% and 40% from 3. He can definitely be an elite offensive weapon. His play began to dip when the team's losing streak ran up and he benched behind Killian somehow.
If his confidence is back and he continues to improve, him and Killian should be able to be good or even great together.

The best teams all have at least 2 players that can handle the ball on the court at all times. We've seen Ivey shoot from 40% from 3 for some decently long stretches, and we've seen Cade and Ivey both play extremely well together when sharing the court.

Ivey/Cade/Fontechio/Harris/Duren.....real starters this year. None of that under 60% from FT and 18% from 3 crap from Ausar. Cade and Ivey will both explode with the real spacing and real shooting around them. When they do play Ausar it should only be when Beef Stew is in at center as the 4th shooter to make up for his giant deficiencies. Pistons should be able to play almost at all times with 4 real shooters on the floor together. And of the 2 between Ausar and Duren....Jalen Duren has more chance to become a stretch 5 than Ausar does at every being decent from 3.
