The only thing that Bora didn't mention was that the members now have their own creative control, obviously another factor as to why their promotions were so different.
Sometimes I think ARMY has been so well fed over the last 10 years that you have gotten too greedy! The members are now working at a pace that is relatively normal and they now have the CHOICE in what they do. They have done enough of the 20 hour days and the flying and hotel room life. Give them a break and trust them a bit more!💜

Yes! Like RM always seemed kinda annoyed or was not fan of all those superficial english interviews or how V sometimes looks exhausted with such fast paced interviews and shows. And you can clearly see they are satisfied with all their work. V looked so happy doing that Tiny desk performance and how at home Hobi looked and felt at Lolapolooza or how emotional Suga got during his tour.
You don't have to have a favorite solo promotion. They were all great. Even better, is that the members all got to promote the way they wanted. Solos will try to pull the victim card for their faves, but the solo promotions for each member were successful. I am so proud of the members.
and their solo's were all sooooo uniquely them! it showed individuality, it shows them experimenting with their sounds, it shows expansions and most of all it shows growth. And we as ARMY should be supporting that. we care for their opinions and we love watching their growth. it's what makes being a fan of their music sooo enjoyable!
I love the diversity of the albums. And if you read their interviews you understand that they really got do what they, themselves, wanted to do. They where the "bosses" of their projects. Of cause they got help from various professionals, but they decide the style, concepts and type of promotion. And because it is the first time they and the company did this, they learn different things. Of cause they regret something which is to expected when you do something new. So J Hope regretted he didn't do a physical album and therefore dropped one later. Jimin has said he regretted he didn't do more promotion and for a longer time, but when he finished - SUGA started to promote and then it was SUGA'S time to shine. I really think everybody had the type of promotion they wanted.
J Hope dropped that physical album because (A) people complained and it upset him as he didn't want to do it at the time. (B) He had a longer plan to release it later but due to pressure from so called fans he ended up releasing it sooner. I will admit at the time I was a bit sad no physical album only because I love physcial album but I didn't go onto social media be moaning the fact or demanding a physical album. Later listening to his plan I understood his reasoning's. So when the physical album came out before he'd planned for it to come out I due to fan's pressure I felt really bad for him.

When they literally had May, June, July and August free. Jimin is still not in the army. But for some reason, Jungkook has been doing solo promos for more than a year, Taehyung got a promo in two or three months and Jimin in 9 days. Are you serious?

Why would they sabotage their own artist, in which they have invested a lot of money in?. And Jungkook has only had promotion around Summer when he released SEVEN and now with his single 3D. It just seems like he has had a lot of promotion because he has been so active on social media and Weverse.

I think v's whole promotion has been breakthrough and complemented his style and music. I am glad he went to Japan instead of the US. And I believe the album is good and will have longitivity. Maybe some of the concern is that there is no transparency by BOghit and Grafen records in the handling of charts etc

I love solo era all BTS members solo music is so different, each member gave us different music genre. Can't wait for 2025🙏
I feel like overall, each member has their plans and choices. So saying that if certain members lack promos and such to me feels more like ppl downplaying each member's creative freedom in their art&music. You can totally see each member's genre, style, subject matter. And all the members literally support and take a solo success as the success of the group, they're so supportive of each others music. In regards to quickness of streams n such? it might b because some of their music hit non k-pop fans too which contributes to numbers/views.
for jhopes release, him and the company got harassed so much, mostly from jhopes solo stans on twitter and tiktok, that hoseok literally felt the need to apologize for not releasing a physical album and for doing things the way he wanted to. im ot7 and jhope biased but i was completely okay with just his weverse album and vinyl i think it fit him and his music style the most and he himself has said multiple times that he took part in the WHOLE process of making jack in the box. ofc i thought it would've been cool to have a physical album and photocards/photobook because i liked the concept so much but i never hated on him for doing things the way he wanted to. hoseok never got mistreated by the company he got mistreated by the "armys"/solos.
I want to cop all THIER albums. So far I only have J-Hope and RM and that’s only because they were released on vinyl and I was hoping all of them would have released a vinyl version but needless to say I have downloaded and streamed ALL OF THEM when released. And your right they all have a different sound and feeling to them . But the one that is most on repeat is J-Hope and Jimin

We also all know that the reason seven is on the charts so much is because it is in English.
This is how billboard works and since it is in English they play it more on the radio. probably the same thing happens with 3D

And also i was freee now that i have collège and entered a deffrent state in my life it is pretty hard to follow evrything and vote evrytimee . Why ppl continue pushing the "kpop schedule" on them as if they're still only kpop artists and haven't surpassed that long time ago? Also tbh it's kinda insensitive too? I don’t think taehyung was sabotaged but it really happened will billboard later excluding slow dancing from their hot 200 list wrongly and they changed the whole list later and fixed this big mistake which isn’t normal at all😬 the US geffen store shipped the CDs of slow dancing too late for the first tracking week it got delayed for my friends and they ordered on august 😀 so again I’m not saying it’s the promo and stuff but the logistics and the company lacked in some parts and affected his chart placement although it’s good 👍🏻 we also have to admit that now they have for 3d for example the right tools to chart high ( with remix versions to buy and stream for the first week these streams are combined for billboard also sales) 3d/seven both had the support and work of hybe USA and scooter Braun team they sent the songs even before to radio stations and stuff so it’s again obvious that they aim for mainstream western music and it’s for Jungkook which isn’t bad or sth but it’s obvious 👍🏻

And just kept on undermining his success. It was frustrating especially since the article was published BY HIS COMPANY.
If you follow BTS account instead of solo account, you would know that they already congratulate Jimin for his achievement.

I don't even care about the promotion, all I care about are the artists, their music and their success! And it's completely stupid to think that BigHit/Hybe tried to sabotage the solo projects of certain members, since BTS generates their biggest income and owns parts of the company so it makes no sense to put obstacles in their way. Plus this video proved that they're all smart and know exactly what they're doing to promote their music!
The only thing that surprised me in Golden is the fact that I don't really find Jungkook's style like in his previous solos and that we feel that the songs were not written by him. That doesn't mean that I don't like the album, on the contrary I love it !! And the fact that it is exclusively in English is not something very surprising, since he has done a lot of covers in English, there is nothing to say about that. And there's nothing wrong with wanting to try new things and there's nothing dirty about Seven and 3D. It's true that it must be a "shock" the first time because there is still a big gap between his previous solos/covers and his album. But people need to learn to stop infantilizing him and start treating him like an adult who knows what he's doing. He's my bias so I'll always support him no matter what, like I'll always support BTS and their solo projects.
Jungkook doesn't like it when ARMYs treat him like a child and say he's cute. Already at 15 he didn't like the "cute persona" he had to play until he came of age. Just watch the episodes of Rookie king, every time he introduced himself and said "Jungkook the "cute" maknae of BTS", he made quotes with his fingers. At 16, he talked about tattoos and believed, I think, naively that ARMYs were going to love him unconditionally because he loves us unconditionally! He has expressed many times that he can't wait to become an adult so he can work out and show a manlier (even if he was already the manliest of the group, IMO), sexier side of himself (BST era if you know what I mean). Again in 2018 he said that he didn't like people to think he was cute, he preferred people to think he was manly but because ARMY liked his cute side, he cut his hair on purpose. In 2019, people criticized him for his long hair, then his tattoos. Once again, he had to apologize for not having done anything wrong, he hid his tattoos for almost 2 years before finally daring to show himself in a t-shirt. He cut his hair several times because ARMYs didn't like his long hair...
Now he's being criticized because he made 2 more explicit songs... It's really tiring that people refuse to let him grow and mature and allow themselves to criticize him for finally expressing his own style and being himself.
Sorry, I wasn't planning on making a comment like that but I can't stand people anymore who give themselves the right to criticize him and judge him for everything he does, says, etc. And I put shippers in the same basket. He's not even allowed to breathe next to someone or look at someone without getting a ton of shit in his face. He's literally been treated like a trash boy for too long... They portray him as someone he absolutely is not. Many people say that he has changed, like the other 6 members in fact. Armys its only the beginning first debut solo proj of each members they will have 2nd album which maybe different to now so dont say that there is sabotage or favoritism. Boracity is right look at their personality and type of music Jungkook is different to V or Jimin his vocals is more RnB/pop westerner sound and V is more RnB/ballad/soulful vocals... and they totally cater different type of audience hybe will not sabotage Bts cause its their source of money..so trust Bts like Rm said
They are not doing this to clash with each other. They are making sure they can create a whole lot of contents things before their enlistment.

It is just another case of some outspoken fans telling Bighit and BTS what THEY want. If any member wanted to do a tour l am sure they would have done a tour. If any member wanted to do a small venue concert then they would have. It all depended on how comfortable they felt doing these things solo. Just because fans want something does not mean that the guys are going to jump through hoops to do it. They give us so much of themselves and yet these demanding fans want exactly what THEY want. Be grateful for every song, performance, and appearance that the guys give us. It is not your life, career or even your choice about what happens to BTS individually or as a group.

Pretty sure that the members said they picked their own involvement and how they wanted to promote it. And Suga wanted a tour! 🤷🏻♀️ Taehyung has always been more low key and relaxed and it has showed in his promotion. Namjoon performed in a small venue in Korea because he was honouring his old underground roots! And I loved his album! Jin probably could have done more but he obviously didn’t want to and he ran out of time and decided to just join the military and get it out of the way. I loved J hope’s promotion and I absolutely loved his performance at Lollapalooza! And he performed at award shows. Jimin could have had more promotion, but maybe he just wanted a break. He has had loads of fashion things too lately. Jungkook was the only one to visit England (which meant that he listened to our grips about them not going to Europe at all) He also had a break and it seems like it all came out at once BUT he did say not long back that he still hadn’t done his album. So he must have been so busy getting all those songs done in a short space of time. And he is obviously still trying to get those solo records. Let him! I also think they are all showcasing more mature versions in their own ways. It’s just that they express them in different ways.

I really love Boracity and i honestly agree with most of the vedio but i don't agree with her with sayingbJimin did the most promotions from Jin, RM and Hobi. If you write all of the things they did side by side even s blind person can tell that he did the least promotion. And she said 2 weeks promotion, nope it's only a 9 days promotion for his first official debut album. I don't even see it as a promotion. And if people are trying to say that the company didn't do anything to any member, I'm sorry to say but they are wrong because they have their own strategies regarding every member promotion. Some fans are so hypocrites that they are contradicting their own statements. One way they said that the company is doing their best to support each members and they have everything has planned a long time before, but if you're saying that they planned all of this a long time before than why some people are saying that well Suga has to so he has to release his album early like WTF? And if all the members did planned their promotions strategies than why Jimin said that he wanted to shoot more MVs but the lable denied his request and they even said it's impossible and he is crazy for asking that. And i know some so called fans starts to say that don't you see they resigned their contract that means nothing happened well no, it's so freaking clear they do that because they clearly love each other and they love Army the most and they promised Army to be back together, and RM said so many times that there's a lot happening behind the scenes and they wish they can tell everything openly what their thoughts but they are under a contract and they have to follow some rules. And people are genuinely think that the company didn't humiliate Jimin by downgrading and humiliate him in their own game , made and produced by their own company, just tell me why this happened only to Jimin and not to any other members. Why this happens only when they are doing solo works , because the company did nothing to disrespect any member when they are in a group. Why they did this only to Jimin as if they hate him. And they only correct their mistake after some Jimin fans and some genuine fans who love BTS genuinely. And they didn't even say sorry or anything regarding their mistake. And for this vedio we all know they are 7 different person with different personalities and tastes, so no one questioning about their target areas or anything. People are questioning some decisions made by the company and the behavior of fans. And no matter what people say i honestly believe that Jimin is sabotaged both by company , fandom who are solo stans , shippers or Antis and and by western platforms. And the no. Of things the company is been doing for some members is so freaking clear that it's not even a confusion anymore. And on top of that there a lot of things with proofs which proves that Jimin and some members did get sabotaged by the company but people who believe in their own theories never watch those proves. But anyways i just hope chapter 2 ends because i never seen this fandom this toxic and disrespectful towards BTS and between Army. Most of the fandom is competing all the members and their achievements and prasing their biases by saying they are the most successful because they are best and other members failed. Does this make any sense. And it's getting out of control right now. Army is not organized at all. The toxicity in our fandom is eating this fandom day by day. But we know that most of the accounts are solo stan accounts. It depends on Solo stans... I still admire solo stans who just focus on their individual member (they don't claim to be ARMY) and spend their time promoting and streaming for their bias... but a big Yuck to solo stans who disrespect and deliberately malign the other members just because another member "seemed" to overshadow theirs. Jealousy at its highest level sucks.
I loved the video and it was very explanatory, but the solo war on twitter is horrible! When Seven was released, it was attacked by Jimin's stan solos, and now 3D attacked by Taehyung's stan solos, this is very unbearable. Now my opinion about the promotions, I don't understand the logic of saying that the company is trying to boycott their own artist. THIS DOESN'T EXIST, Hybe/Bighit want money so it's obvious that they won't sabotage any member's debut, these people have we start thinking that members also choose where they want to promote.

I'm not a Boracity fan, but I like your channel. Boracity and Army have labeled fans "solos" if they support one member more than others, even if you still respect all the members. This opinion got me blocked, trashed, called names, told to leave Army (done), and more. I'm American so words like solo, bias, comeback, are not part of my vocabulary. American fans have favorite artists, who debut and drop new music. We support an artist, our way and push back hard when someone tries to interfere with our fave. Jungkook is our guy, but enjoy music from other artists, even BTS. JK said he wants to conquer the Western market and we decided to be Jungkook Army, since the Western industry is not Asian male friendly. We hoped BTS Army would work with us, but immediately saw all kinds of ugly. After every English song JK is accused of: Trying to sound white, He's changed, He's got payola, He's sleeping with XYZ, He shouldn't work with XYZ, He needs to support his members more. DONE! We'll now only work with people who allow JK to pursue his dream. Some Army try to help us, but the backlash is fierce. The, "wait his turn" Army are off the chain. They told GCF to cancel their show, so JK could send Suga off to the military. They refuse to help with 3D, because Harlow's lyrics are offensive. They told one fanbase to check with a BTS fanbase regarding awards nominations. If another member is nominated, JK should "wait his turn," since he's younger or has won already. JK fans no longer expect the company or anyone else to promote Jungkook. He promotes himself and we follow his lead. Call us solos, a-holes, B's or idiots, but we know life isn't fair so roll-up those sleeves and get to work. Me, a Jungkook ride or die fan.

To explain, I'm older, am OT7, but also have a bias. So naturally, I tend to give a lil more focus toward my bias. I support them ALL; J-hope is the only one I have has the chance to see in person. I bought not just my own ticket; but also one as an early bday gift for my nephew, to see Hobi @ Lollapalooza last summer. Now Hobi is NOT my bias! He's my bias wrecker, & was long before Lollapalooza.
While I obviously have a different special place in my heart for my bias and his style of music is truly the closest to my tastes; I find something to enjoy with all of them.
With that said, I also understand there are people who might be attracted to say Suga's sound ( my niece's bias lol) , & not care for ANYTHING by any of the other members solo stuff or any BTS group music. They have a right to only be Sugas's fan. Sane goes for ANY of them. There are some who found out about BTS because of seeing a short of one of the members, thought they were cute & got a crush, & follow ONLY that one & are onmy a fan if one. Have spent thousands of dollars, attended their concerts and put group and members songs in my playlist. I was never an Army, true, not because I disliked them, but because of their arrogance and hypocrisy. It's not a group I want to be identified with. Done meant it was time to part ways, why stay when I'm frustrated and am frustrating others. In a group of acquaintances some members will be very close, others may be less close, but all should show respect for the others differences, Army can't or won't understand that concept. Even though I'm not really a fan of BTS anymore and just specifically Jungkook because of the route his solo work has taken where it's all English, sounds like a western song instead of kpop, and with lyrics not like Spring Day or Love Yourself but constantly about sex, people are way too sensitive about things and it's really annoying. With the exception of "Slow Dancing" they were extremly cheap (if tastefull).
I would not be surprised if "Set Me Free Pt.2" was as expensive as if not more than the other 4 MVs: the set was very expensive: the panopticon that had to be built, the controlled lights behind the panells, the very special camera, the dancers that also had to be trained.
I also wouldn't call "Like Crazy" MV cheap either.
But budgets exists and they were on a schedul - so time may have also played into it.

how did V achieve them when Army's don't support him? so many people are still on Layover and other previous members as well even if it's already time for a new member's drop. Each listener/person has a genre they prefer but it doesn't mean the whole fandom didn't tune in every time a member's solo drops.
