I love the tone of Mike’s new guitar. His description of “organic” is quite fitting. You can tell how much he loves that guitar by the uninhibited way he let loose with his playing. It was a real treat to hear that incredible style of his.

Really sounds excellent. My kind of strat: clarity but depth and not thin-sounding. I hate quacky thin-sounding pickups, especially on strats. Regarding the look, the rosewood fretboard goes really well with the sunburst. Excellent purchase Mike! 🥰👏🏻🍾
Back in 1997 i had a tele built here in Adelaide south Australia by a great luthier name Brian West from Fretco through the years I’ve bought many other telecasters some custom shop one 1967 original and some vintage series i love them all but i always come back to the 97 west so i know exactly what you mean you like what you like good show

Love it ! To be honest , for me your playing on this guitar is the best I’ve heard , almost like there’s less notes and more pauses between notes . Beautiful tone and playing. It’s funny, I was at Denmark sr a few weeks ago enquiring about getting new pick ups for my 20yr old strat . The guy said the Lola pickups are excellent and gave me a Tele that had the nearest sound of a Lola pickup . Man , I’ve never been a Tele man but if I’d have had the £1200 in my bank I would have brought it there and then . When you know , you know !
Looks and sounds gorgeous. And you're clearly connecting with it. I must admit I was never convinced by the Bradcaster.....but this is something very special!!
Thank you Mike. Yeah it’s a fun guitar the Bradcaster and was a good learning experience, I will still play it as it’s good to have the humbucker, but there is definitely things I would change about it.
There’s a buzz I get from watching a guy zone out on his dream. And what a great tone that guitar has. Beautiful. But the last Strat ? Famous last words I said in 2008 with my 1982 AVRI ‘57. I still have it, but I’ve also acquired a Vintage 2 ‘61, & a Strat Pro 2 since. 🤭 Never say never. Your superb playing is also an excellent showcase for your new Strat. Subscribed for more. 👍

Can definitely relate. My dream Strat would be almost identical but with slightly diff eg i like the big CBS era headstock and modern radius. Yours looks and sounds 👌 👍 fantastic!
it does sound amazing, as good as it gets, its really good looking too, the no finish look makes look worn in without any of that silly relicing, and if you dont mind i will borrow a lick or 2 from your demo of it, thanks and all the best
It’s the kind of clean sound that I really love. Came here trying to figure out what they do to get that rough looking rough feeling neck, that I once felt on a Haar Tele, and it really stuck with me.

I have 4 electric guitars. 1was a mim players series never liked the neck felt like it was to thick for my left hand. Sold it. Played an American pro ll. Didn't like the deep C neck. Played and American performer and fell in love with it. The neck was just perfect fit my hand. Very comfortable to play. So I bought that strat. I am happy to say that will be my last strat.

Yeah, 10:00-10:50 that is the Sound. Your technique is so good you really are able to eliminate some of the Stratocaster BARK sound, by your technique. Outside of Eric Johnson this is about the best I have heard for taming that BARK. 14:34 is really nice, low BARK example. Positions 2 and 4 usually enhance the BARK sound. Myself personally i do not like the Bark. The only time I ever liked position 2 was when Eric Clapton used it on the song LET IT RAIN. And everyone since then has just gone berzerk with it. I love SRV too, but his music is really BARK Crazy to say the least. Where the term originated from is a friend of mine a Big Guitar Collector, one time he or I was playing and I made a comment what is it about the stratocaster what is that sound it makes and His comment was OH the STRATOCASTER BARK, and it just stuck there after. LOL.
