Batman: Arkham Knight is a 2015 action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, it is the successor to the 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins, and the fourth main installment in the Batman: Arkham series. Written by Sefton Hill, Ian Ball and Martin Lancaster, Arkham Knight is inspired by the long-running comic book mythos. Set nine months after the events of 2011's Batman: Arkham City, the game's main storyline follows Batman as he confronts Scarecrow, who has launched an attack on Gotham City, causing a citywide evacuation. Scarecrow, with the help of the mysterious Arkham Knight, is also able to unite Batman's greatest foes in an attempt to finally destroy Batman.
The game is presented from a third-person perspective, with a primary focus on Batman's melee combat, stealth abilities, detective skills, and gadgets. Batman can freely move around the open world of Gotham City, interacting with characters and undertaking missions, and unlocking new areas by progressing through the main story or obtaining new equipment. The player is able to complete side missions away from the main story to unlock additional content and collectible items. Combat focuses on chaining attacks together against numerous foes while avoiding damage, while stealth allows Batman to conceal himself around an area, using gadgets and the environment to silently eliminate enemies. Arkham Knight introduces the Batmobile as a playable vehicle, which is used for transportation, puzzle solving and combat.

My favorite outfit in the game. It’s simple as hell with really cool details. The damage on the bat symbol, the knuckles and wrist blades looking super cool, and the cape is probably my favorite thing

I love using the Batfleck suit in Arkham Knight. It's bulkier than the other suits which makes his ass-kicking much more believable. The mud on the bottom of the cape is also a nice detail since its constantly raining in Gotham it'd make sense for the cape to get a little dirty after a while. And finally it's got the classic gray and black color scheme while also still feeling modern.
It portrays his character so well. It’s a Batman that is older and robin was killed, he’s already faced the joker many times, he’s seen things just keep getting worse, he just doesn’t care anymore. His suit isn’t fancy and crazy it’s simple because he doesn’t need a crazy suit to get the job done now. All he needs is his presence to terrify people because he’s a legend in Gotham at this point. It’s all worn and the cape is all faded n dirty and raggedy at the bottom. It’s soooo badass
@@michaeldanchez9530 you're one of the few people that realizes that Batfleck is a much older version of Batman who has lost hope and has resorted to killing. I always hated the criticism that he got. People forget that the only Batman onscreen that had the 'no killing' code was Christian Bale's Batman. Every Batman before and after Christian Bale killed but only Batfeck got the hate.
@@pranavnnair5 the whole not killing thing, I understand, it’s part of Batman being Batman but at the same time REALISTICALLY it’s insane. Like first of all if you’re running around beating tf out of people in the streets at some point you’re gonna accidentally kill someone. Somebody is gonna bounce their head on the concrete or you’re gonna knock someone out n they don’t wake up or all sorts of things could happen when you’re fighting people constantly. Not to mention even if you’re not killing them you’re giving people brain damage and major body damage. Even Pattinsons Batman.. I don’t wanna give spoilers if you haven’t seen it but there’s a batmobile scene where, during the chase, cars are getting run off the road, tankers are exploding, people are crashing.. it’s like dude at least one of those people died. Like after a certain point it’s nonsense to say Batman never kills tbh. Or at least no movie version has ever done it right to make him not be a killer. But anyway yea batfleck is over it n is doing whatever is necessary. Plus everyone loves the multiverse of differnt versions of characters until it comes time to be a hater then it’s like BATMAN DOESNT DO THAT IN THE COMICS. There’s infinite versions of Batman so just let it be
@@michaeldanchez9530 don’t forget that Batman was trained by assassins at a young age and knows over like 127 martial arts styles and that most of them consist of being able to kill while BAREHANDED topped off with the fact that he fights MURDERERS so in many ways him killing actually makes sense and would fit his character more

I love the Batfleck suit, because it feels like the classic suit, but it looks realistic enough to pass as scary and intimidating.
Batfleck was/is solid. In acting and action both. It is lamentable how in later movies they made him sort of a comic relief .
I still hope Mr. Affleck and Mr. Snyder do a standalone Batman movie.

I don't think we can forget about Batfleck, they all just Batman at different points in his life. Batfleck is the old veteran Batman like Arkham Knight Batman, he beat Superman, parademons, and warehouse thugs in the Arkham game style. Pattinson The Batman is young Batman dealing with Riddler and Penguin, he's more like Arkham Origins Batman.

I love this suit, even if Ben Affleck isn’t my favorite Batman. My favorite comic is The Dark Knight Returns, and somehow this suit is more “Dark Knight Returns” than the actual Dark Knight Returns suit!

I think like every Batman in every movie there’s things he did right and things that weren’t done right obviously. But I felt like he was a badass Batman and his suit is also super badass. We got some of the best Batman scenes in film from him imo

I’m not gonna lie I thought George Clooney had the “ best philanthropy “ for a Batman role until Ben was introduced. And I’m a Batman Beyond, animated Batman , DC comics kinda fan. So now I gotta replay the entire Batman Arkham Knight game now after watching this video( thank you - because I wasn’t expecting this ruthless aggression outta no where ) & especially since Patterson surprised me with how extreme and calm he executed the subway scene fight after the onion head got hit by a car once fear settles in from realizing the bat 🦇 symbol was in the sky. Oh yeah and the rain 🌧 makes it more epic and sets the tone. I wonder if I should try it VR🤔🤫
I liked the batfleck suit, despite it's apparent simplicity. It makes me assume that he's low key a metahuman using drugs and mechanical inserts, like Owlman.
I know some hates battfleck because he's ear short too bulky fatbat, This version of batman was in his 50s he don't care if the goons died when he lost someone.

Batfleck is the best of all of them. None of the others can even compare. He's the true Dark Knight. Just heading into a fight, best of all with guns. The rule that he finally decided to ditch, and I just love that about him. That's what got me hooked to this Batman is that he doesn't care or isn't afraid to bend the rules. Of course, WB on the other hand thinks Batman's good as long as he doesn't use guns as a lethal means. I haven't seen the Batman yet, but it seems good. Even though in my opinion it's kind of an insult to Ben's real Batman that nobody can replace.

I did several times when playing Arkham City but those only knocked them down so I had to quickly take them down before other thugs came.
But I didn't know that in Arkham Knight, they get unconscious after the explosion. I guess Batman upgrade his explosives.

Not many people realize the reason Batfleck is hated is because of his portrayal, I have many to state but other than that I can't say I hate the suit. I do dislike the emblem but either than that it really is a great suit can't argue with that.

After seeing the awesome The Batman with Pattinson and Matt Reeves, BatFleck needs his own solo movie before hanging up the Cowl for good.
As much as I dislike Affleck's Batman I have to say, his costume is about as comic-accurate as it gets, gotta be my favourite live action Batman costume, I wish more live action films did the Batman suit like that. I suppose people are afraid of it looking like Adam West's silly spandex costume but honestly if they pulled it off in the Snyder films they can pull it off again. The all-black, militaristic/armored look of the suits from The Batman or the Dark Knight films is something I dislike a lot.

Yech 😖 I like Tara Strong but that voice…so Timmy Turner… it set a precedent basically every Harley since has replicated, so nasally and with such a bad accent. No one has yet been able to replicate Arleen Sorkin. Hers was very singsongy and light.
I could do without Affleck. His Batman wasn't for me. Too huge of a build. Christian Bale was way better than Affleck. On a second note, even though it's a 7-year-old game, why can't rocksteady please put the Pattinson suit in the game!!!
