I did promise to check out the entire Maxident album, and I keep my promises! And I wanted to throw Lonely St as a bonus because it was the one MV from the Oddinary album that I, unfortunately, missed (BSide MVs).
i hope its ok to put this here rq but im still a baby satay and i just heard Awaken off the skz 2021 and as a Rock fan (i say rock as a very simplified explanation) im obsessed. i think you would be too from what i see. pleas god react to it
Lonely St!!! Ahhh that was one of the first few songs I listened to when I was introduced to Stray Kids and it is still one of my favorites, thanks for this reaction
I think it makes perfectly sense. I often feel sorry for both of them to be only viewed for visual (both) and the deep voice. Yeah we all know about the Felix effect but this guys are soooo much more.❤❤
Lonely St was the first song from Stray Kids I've ever listened to. When I was watching it for the first time, I was crying like stupid. Like, I understood it way too much. Hyunjin's parts were extremely bruta (at that time I didn't even knew what happened in 2021) because I could just feel his pain, and after I found out about last year I was crying even more. Right now, Lonely St is my favourite song of all, even though I love all of them
First of all: thank you for your reaction, they're always lovely because they're genuine and heartfelt. I enjoy that.
What I think is interesting about the Lonely St. video is that it strongly reminds of the My Pace video. While My Pace is upbeat and basically tells the world "I don't care, I'm going in my own pace, I'll find my way", Lonely St. kinda deals with the reality of how it feels when after all this time, you're still astray, you're still searching your way, still feeling lonely, depressed, still facing all these obstacles until you don't even know if your next step will be the one of the ledge. At least that's how I interpret it - but it feels kind of significant that both have this race track imagery and are similar in some lyrics (besides the countless cross-references of other song titles etc). I think it's spot on that Bang Chan literally 'runs himself ragged' until he collapses and hurts himself, that Felix (who kinda references depression multiple times with his lines in other songs as well) has these darkness bars and gun MV part, and that Hyunjin kinda says 'I am scared to be erased, that my footprints are already fading'. And also that box... while Felix can't see or get inside, perhaps be included? Hyunjin just can't get out or hide away. There's so much sadness and significance in this MV! Also haha line references to Muddy Water like Felix, "I execute the shadows all around me, call me demon slayer", I think they played with these lyric cameos while still being dead serious :3
If you like Can't Stop, it was arranged by the man who arranges almost every single Day6's songs (which Seungmin is a huge fan of)!!! I highly recommend you to keep reacting and discovering Day6, because their songs sound a lot like this one. You'll really like Sweet Chaos, I Need Somebody (emotional one) and Time Of Our Life :)
Cant stop is such a bop. It always makes me happy. The vocals are so good... as always.
Lovely St. Is a good song too... but I can't watch this mv without crying. My heart breaks every time while I watch them being soooo sad. Specially Chan is killing me in this mv...it makes me sad to see him suffer. it's like a vise crushing my heart

Useless confession : When I see the title "Lonely St." I always read "Lonely Saint" (cause in french if you see a "st" somewhere it means "saint" without a doubt). I always confuse me when the chorus come and reminds me it means street xD

This song represents as we go through life we are in a masquerade of smiling and putting on a show but deep down we are faced with terrors and are unable sometimes to express it. That at times people may empathize but behind closed doors we are battling our demons but unless you have a relationship with God you may end up like those who have gone home too soon.😎😎😎😊😚😪😪

Yes... agree with you.. can't stop can be an anime song.. its sound a bit like japanese style song.. very cute, fresh, and cheerfull.. i stand for skz bcause of the lyric in their song n really fascinated with how they delivered their msg in attractive n unique melody n arrangemnt.. i think i love all of their song including skz player..
