Thank you!! For your video very helpful I bought like 30 Exotic caches but I hate it how they make it now you don't get random Exotic item I normally get the same thing I already have. I'm looking for the Coyotes mask but until now I don't have Luck 😢
Run countdown on challenging and you'll get a min of 140 countdown currency. Do that twice and you'll get enough for a exotic cache. Takes maximum of 40 mins and is repeatable, got St. Elmo's, and chameleon on first two caches.
I do the weekly SHD requisition donation 7 or 8 times a week. Three times with my first three level 40 toons. Then I do it with my level 30 toon. Then delete the level 30 toon and boost a new one and do it again. And again and again until I get bored of gathering 250 food or whatever. It takes about 10 minutes to create a character and finish the project. Just be sure to buy the shared materials blueprint before you dismantle the level 30 exotic.
Even using targeted loot, it's very difficult for me to drop any exotic items, even after several rounds of the countdown I can't get any exotic items.

I feel like I get the same loot over and over again. Especially with targeted loot, do loot rolls reset everyday or something? I’m SHD50 so still fairly new
i do targeted specific types - marksman mantis then D-Edict in a match then 3 WDs in the next (was running with full clan tho)
You forgot to mention that you have to be at level 40 to even do Countdown.

Not hard to believe. I got a Tickle Me Elmo from a level 3 control point supply room.
I had 8 St.Elmos drop on challenging level in Countdown over 12 games and 1 was god rolled 🙂

@@ohnoitisnt666 I played 5 countdowns with targeted loot and got 2 st Elmo’s drop in the first one, then another 2 across the other 3 games.
However, I’m still farming momento and I’m around 30 games deep

Ran Countdown, targeted assault rifles. A boss dropped an exotic…it was a Chameleon. Earned enough points to buy an exotic cache…it was a Chameleon.

In the open world do you have to play heroic to get exotics “that” easily?
Bro I find the best place for Exotics is Countdown on Challenging, as you get gear to either keep or melt down + SHD points + purchase at vendor points. So it’s a win win win 👍
If you want more points and less gear then play on Heroic.
On Heroic l get an average of 201 points per session, on challenging 158 points.
Each Exotic costs 224 points and I’ve managed to amass in not so long a time 18000 points = 80 Exotics!!

If i dont have the project,and cant craft ridgewasy pride chest,i still able to get it from countdown,chest target loot?
No you need to play summit to unlock the pieces
Craftable items with quest needs to be obtained 1st to unlock them in your loot pool then you can farm it.

whats the UI on the bottom left that shows damage and what everyone got as loot? it looks super nice but I'm not sure what it is

It's not as easy as your claiming it to be, i farmed 3 days no exotic, and one night I hopped into Cd and got 1 exotic each run i did (6 in total) I ended up getting 5 chameleons and 1 st elmos
Just run Countdown with targeted loot I've got 6 in one match

Lol the projects and global events aren't even close to being considered an exotic farm. Countdown would be the farm location but me for example I don't get exotics in countdown so I usually have to buy the caches from the vendors and again if I have to buy them then I don't consider it a farm
It's an option which no one should skip because they can get a quick Exotic every week. As for farming Exotics countdown is always going to be the best :)
Why not say do the weekly descent project, all you have to do is kill nemesis
I knew I forgot something thanks for saying this. But I think people would rather clear legendary mission faster than doing Descent.
Descent is garbage that’s why it flopped on release

Haven't even wasted the time to start a Descent match, after hearing reviews just a couple days after it's release. The opinion of a majority of players I've heard speak of the game mode is that it's pretty much trash.

A week worth of countdowns projects every thing and nothing. It’s just the on the drop probability. You hit it, you’ll get it. ESP for st Elmo. Targetted or not, not even one weak drop. Stupid ass game
During the last PTS, Exotic Caches on sale at the Dark Zone vendors cost 170 DZ credits. Now considering Named Items cost 150 DZ credits that's a damn good deal, and yes this will be a permanent thing in the new season. They may adjust the price when the real season starts tho.
Also don't know how you're getting Exotics to Drop in countdown, cuz I've made targeted loot as you suggested and got zippo.. fer months. I ran 3 heroic countdown today and got nuthin. 😢😢😥😥
Countdown do drops exotic very often tbh. Whenever my friends needs an exotic or a new player. we take them to countdown and we get it dropped and then share it with them. Even though one run may not give exotic you can still use the credits to buy Caches from the vendor :)
@@AnYTimeGaming You're very very lucky then, cuz like I said when my clan play we rarely get a drop. However in the DZ, exotics are dropping more, my buddy got a Ravenous 2 days ago..
