I really admire Sutton Foster's spectacular singing of Gimme Gimme. I mean she takes the song to another level that's outstanding. But this is the first time I've heard any voice teacher analyze it before. Thanks JoAnne Hart....your musical commentary helps me appreciate Sutton even more. 🙂
Did you know that Sutton Foster was actually supposed to be the understudy for the other actress who was going to play Millie? Also, Sutton won an award for her performance of Millie Dillmount.
