Thank you, thank you, thank you, Brad. I feel hopeless when McFarlane misses on so many key details with every single character and it had been adding up in such a negative way. But your reviews do a lot in both showing me I'm not alone in this and I also don't need to lose my head. But damn it, I hate how McFarlane seems to be plowing through the characters so carelessly and cheaply.
I love your comment. I feel EXACTLY the same way. I am also so sad that McFarlane Toys is plowing through so many characters so cheaply. I would pay more for more quality, but it seems it will never happen.
Lol I’ll make you whatever you want if you pay for it
@@The_singularity I agree 💯 I'm getting jaded on the DC multiverse line
Brad! There is a foot peg in the tornado! Look again! But its in a really bad spot. They really need a much bigger tornado for his feet to fit in. And Great vid as always!
Red tornado is the 🌟 of this set. Haven't picked it up yet. 😂❤
Great to see you pumping out the reviews again, Brad! 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
This Nightwing could have been easily fixed with a pliable material, similar to Red Tornado’s cape, that was slotted into the front of his chest and then glued. It would also be glued in the back, where a cape would normally be slotted and glued.
Would be no hindrance to articulation either. Todd should really take notes from the community. This figure deserves a redo.
Hell yeah three figure review!! You're a trooper Brad, thank you!!
McFarlane cut so many corners on these three figures that I’m surprised they aren’t perfect circles.
…and I don’t think Todd is any happier about it than we are. Something is seriously broken in the mass market retail toy line business model.
Brad, great takes on all of them People are getting figures other then Batman. That is something. For the price point all will be missing something usually pant apps. Also the reuse of a trigger finger hand on a character(Animal man) that usually is not associated with firearms is an oversight. Heck a pointing hand or a thumbs up would of been a better choice..if a new hand sculpt was to be introduced into the available pool of accessories. The wolverine at least shows the upping of the kind of figures in the possible future accessories as well. The omission of the jacket is ok more articulation and I am not sure a softer plasic material would of looked good or functioned well, ar leat with the budget available. As always your humor😆 some of the best content out there ✌️
I love the Animal Man (boots aside) - loved the character since the Grant Morrison series... and personally, I like they've given us the jacketless version. Hopefully now we get a Super Powers version. 😁
Great review as always! Just a PSA (that everyone is probably already aware of): because Animal Man and Nightwing are built on the Blue Beetle/Booster Gold body buck, their arms are on the wrong sides and need to be reversed.
Gold label doesn't necessarily mean there will be a "regular version" Gold label just means it's a store exclusive. Eradicator, Shazam, Azbat, Wally West, Black lightning, Captain atom, all were Gold labels and we never got any kind of regular version. Sometime it happens (Kyle Rayner, Tim Drake) but it's not guaranteed.
I don't know if all Target exclusives are bad but my favorite figures from this review is Red Tornado because he looks cool especially that classic design and Nightwing from Knightfall looks dope so I might eventually get Red Tornado or Nightwing once back in stock, Overall, Great review Brad.
These are good! Overpriced but good.
I ilke this DC multiverse Red tornado en nightwing the Animal man
Guess I am going to Target. Great review of all three. Thanks
There should be a foot peg in the Tornado. Mine has one
I foresee a mullet Clark Kent in my future with that pony tail hair sculpt!
Despite the obvious flaws each figure has, it's ok but the price maybe is not justified.
Great review Brad!!!
lol what do you think the price is?
Funny enough the cape that comes with psycho pirate looks more like the actual red tornado figure and todd didn’t use it here🤨 still for what it is I love that red tornado figure but mafex or mezco should make one
That Nightwing is just so damn disappointing. 90s Nightwing is my favorite version of him, and they really screwed the pooch. Really needed sculpted detail, especially the golden bits on his chest. Kenner and DC Direct both sculpted those details. And once again, the details don't even match the comic art used on the box and trading card.
It's just damn annoying cuz we know McFarlane Toys is capable of doing great figures, they just chose not to with this one.
The normal release versus "Gold Label" aren't a thing anymore I think, McFarlane just does a heck ton of "Gold Label" exclusives in general never doing a "regular " version for general release, which for those who can't buy them are essencially f***ed. I think Todd is doing a lot of quantity over quality these days and I don't like it. I think I will cut down a lot of my spending on this line
How did you find obtain them in Canada? I can't find them anywhere ;p Great review!
He often gets things shipped. Sometimes you can hear him complaining about shipping and Canadian customs.
@@o_oo_o1812 ahh thanks! Shipping prices are kinda crazy, that's why I didn't even consider that. Appreciate it!
Can you do a review on Mezco robin ?
It's sad to me that "IMO" a great majority of the DC Multiverse figures don't look like they are from the same toy line.
All 3 McFarlane Toys Figures, looked Magnificent!
Triple Yoink
The sad part is people will still buy it, leaving no reason for improvements.
