- čas přidán 22. 09. 2023
- The last 20 minutes of my livestream that aired on 9/11/23.
I felt it needed to be clipped out and shared for those who have not yet seen it, in honor of the victims, the families and friends of the victims, the first responders, and everyone suffering with 9/11 related illnesses. The heroes. We will never forget.

I have to agree. Today should be a day of remembrance. The fact that it isn't is quite disturbing, especially to those of us who live through it, and will never forget it.
Thank you, gentlemen, for your service then, and continued service!
Thank you, Melanie and all first responders
Thank you for your service. We all need to hear you share your experiences. My 14 yr. old grandson
had a teacher commerate the heroism services rendered by New Yorkers on 9/11. I'm pleased to know some teachers are not ignoring this important event in our history. Thank you for sharing your raw reality to the remembrance and living reality of the 9/11 tragedy. Duty Ron I watched you and Ed during your remberance it was enlightening to learn and see the event through you eyes. Thank you Melanie
Thank you for posting this interview and honoring all victims of 9/11, especially those brave first responders who showed up to help, running straight into the danger, rather than away from it. I was living in Denver on September 11, 2001, so we were two hours behind you. When I woke up early on 9/11 the attacks had not happened yet, so the "big news" in the early hours of that morning was that Denver Bronco Ed McCaffrey broke his leg in a game with the New York Giants the night before. By the time I got to my office at around 8:30, it was 10:30 in New York, the attacks were in progress, and the entire staff at my office was watching the TV in our conference room watching in horror as things unfolded. Everything changed that day, but I know it was so much worse for those of you who lived in New York City. I am so sorry for everyone affected, especially those of you who lived in New York and worked at Ground Zero. I am so grateful to you all for the example of strength that you've set for the rest of us. I moved east after 9/11 and I've been to New York City several times since then but, like you, Detective Grimaldi, and Duty Ron, I've never gone to the site. I agree that September 11th should become a national holiday, and much more should be done to educate our citizens about what led to that horrible day and who our heroes were and are. The last few years have been extremely difficult, as you discussed, but I am hopeful that things will improve soon. It seems that many in the public are awakening to things going on around us, and thanks to social media (not available in the days of 9/11) we are learning more than ever and able to connect, mobilize, and come together to fight for necessary change in our society. Thank God for channels like this that are bringing people together. We will never forget and we will never stop fighting for justice and good. God bless you, Detective Grimaldi, and Duty Ron. We really appreciate you all, and we are with you.
Thanks you all for Caring and Loving Thinking of all of you during this difficult time Love Marianne ✝️🙏🕯️💜🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thinking of you sending all the strength you need for those days who are harder and those days you guys are faced with the aftermath. I did not know all the sickness that followed. Apart of the mental challenges. I was to young 11yrs old and from Switzerland. Been there once at the memorial, for me I could not understand why there is souvenir shop ? But I think with what is there now they could not do it better. Thank your for your openness. I love watching you guys - so genuine.
I Prayers to all of you 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Riveting and heartbreaking! Thanks for doing this podcast with such insightful and amazing guests.
Also remember the NYC medical examiner
the remaining days I have on this Earth I hope that this is never forgotten and people will always remember and talk about that day and those that were lost. God bless Phil, Ron and everyone else.
It definitely affected all of North America if not more because being in Canada many miles away I can still remember being traumatized by 911. I couldn’t see our own downtown without remembering everything I’d seen that day for months after 911. I was awake when it started and watched all day and night horrified at what was happening. I’d been diagnosed with a rather nasty cancer at that same time and I thought cancer is NOTHING compared to what those people and their families were going through that day. 💕🙏
Thank you, Melanie, for uploading this, and may we #NeverForget September 11th 2001 🇺🇸🇺🇲🙏🙏
Wow Melanie, your channel is growing so fast! Congratulations!
Love to all you guys, you truly are wonderful people. From Kent Coast, England 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
Thank you so much for you generosity ❤️
I can't imagine seeing what happened in NYC on 9/11/01 with my own eyes. It's hard enough to watch on TV! God bless you gentlemen and Thank You for your service 🙏
We will never forget!!! United we stand together in peace and love. 💜 🙏
Thank you Dutyron for your service and for your bravery on that day. So many lives lost, breaks my heart. So sorry for the loss of your cousin😔💔
Thanks Mel for sharing this... I'm only in Denver, CO, but was also still disappointed this year, feeling like there wasn't enough attention or memorium of the day... it felt like after the 20 year anniversary, it's suddenly become not as important and I don't understand... it really made me sad this year...
Anyway, THANK YOU again for sharing this conversation to bring a li'l attention to the matter...
And THANK YOU to Phil & DutyRon for your service on that horrible day and beyond.
I'll NEVER forget watching it happen and crying all day. Last time I went to NYC I just couldn't visit Ground Zero for my own well-being. God Bless the civilians and first responders. 💔💔💔
Rewatching Melanie. This was a very important conversation!
Thank you all for sharing your truths much love and respect ❤
Continued prayers for those who are still grieving losses and fighting for their health, etc. We were stationed in a foreign country with little kids when 9/11 happened. I’ve never felt so vulnerable as an American. Then a decade of deployments followed.
God bless you all! We will NEVER forget!❤️🩹🇺🇸
September 11th is always an incredibly emotional day for me. I am so proud of all of the heroes that are alive today and those that had lost their lives on that day and in its aftermath. 💗 My thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones that lost a loved one on 9/11 or as a result of that day in the days, weeks, months and years since then. 💞 #Neverforget
Hey Melanie. Happy Saturday. Look forward to catching u live soon. Take it easy. 😊
You are heroes. I was in high school in psych class when the first plane hit, I remember so vividly the entire day. It was scary and you men are incredibly brave. Thank you for all you've done. ❤️
I just recently discovered your channel, and I have to say how much I appreciate you, Melanie. You're real. You're genuine. And thank you, gentlemen, for your service. It is very much appreciated all over this world. I will never forget.
Hi Sandy 👋 I'm one of Melanie's Mods and I wanted to Welcome you to Melanie's channel ❤
Thank you@@MissDonnaMarie0!
@@SandKayaker You're welcome 🤗
Hi Melanie. Love your channel. Have you watched any of the Timothy Ferriter child abuse case in Florida? I wonder what your ideas on it are? I can feel for the family due to the child’s mental health issues but that’s no excuse for abuse.. I can’t believe this abuse wasn’t caught when they lived in Arizona. Or I wonder if that’s why they moved to Florida. As you’ve said, if you see something say something. Apparently some people in Arizona knew about this How they possibly thought this “room” in the garage could help him is beyond me.
Thanks for your service each and everyone of you 🩵 my heart truly goes out to each and everyone who has been affected by this utter tragedy 💔 love from Scotland xx
Incredible, Melanie. Loved it.
💔Never forget. Ever. #NYCityStrong

Thank you all ❤ xx
May God bless you Guy's.
#NeverForget 🇺🇸✌️
I usually take the day of 9/11 to reflect about my life. My humanity. Others and their humanity. The real reason we are here and how sometimes it takes a massive tragedy to remind us how vulnerable we really are and how we will ALWAYS get MORE DONE TOGETHER than we ever do alone.
May God bless you all, both victims & survivors: I remember that day and those following as if it was yesterday, we were hundreds of miles away, the most glorious fall days, with no planes, no cell service, the world in shock. How horrible that evil thinks hate gives glory to any god… May strength and healing continue until you see your loved ones again♥️
Thank you Melanie. For taking the time to reflect on 9/11
Most ppl put it in The back of there minds. I’m guilty at times. It’s sometimes too painful to relive. We lost so many that day. But, so many were lost in the aftermath. I agree. I can’t go to ground zero. It should be banned from selfless.
Never 4 Get 9/11 ❤ God bless our 1st Responders. God bless all the families & the USA🇺🇸
Always Remember! On that day we all became New Yorkers, Americans!😊
Thank you all for sacrificing your life 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 for health and happiness
Should be a national day of mourning😢
