Option 3 for the rocking chairs- just buy another 4😂. That way you can enjoy them however you want without having to move them. You love to entertain so it makes sense! Loved the decor and your back yard oasis!!🇺🇸

Buy more chairs. They are perfect in both locations and will last forever! I love that you use chargers, cloth napkins (with rings) outdoors for your kids. In the real world, our kids get white paper plates! Ha❤️💙
I love the rocking chairs in the breezeway. It gives me grand hotel vibes! It looks so cozy and perfect spot to watch kiddos in the pool with a nice beverage in the shade. Honestly, it seems like you like this option best too. You can always do Adirondack chairs by the fire pit or swivel chairs with cushions. It looks beautiful and so inspiring!

I like option 2. With kids it makes more sense so you can keep a close eye and not trip in case you had to move the chairs to rescue someone.

Definitely keep the rocking chairs near the pool, especially since I feel like that's what makes you happiest. A nice buffet table near the kitchen door would be convenient, and nice from the inside too if you have decor there. I also love the idea of swings, you've gotta have swings! 😊

Loving all your videos, glad my husband and I are not the only ones doing some backyard cleaning before the summer parties. We like to pressure wash, clean all the outdoor furniture , check on fans and tv, seal any patio roof leaks,spray bug killer and weed killer. This month I work on planting some jasmine plants for fragrance, mosquito repellent container with mint rosemary lavender basil. 😊 it’s helping
After all the hard work,sit back and around a full house with memories ❤
I think put the rockers around the fire pit, then purchase non rockers that match for the shaded area so that people won’t rock in to your windows

I love the rocking chairs in the breezeway, and a buffet table in that area by your door. I love your fire pit, but would definitely convert to gas. I hate that smokey smell, but love the fire. I can see you guys out there a lot in the fall with your games and wine. You could get chairs for around the fire pit that are cushy and more of the vibe of that side of your yard. Love your backyard and style!

Thanks for keeping it real, that is life with kids never ending cleaning and figuring out what happened here? Love the yard, so inviting and ready to party. We use our grill almost everyday in the summer it helps keep the house cooler. It also helps me get a break in the kitchen. I think option 1 specially if you are thinking of changing the fire pit.

Buy more chairs, keep the current rockers across from the pool. Turn the fireplace into a hot tub!! Buy the two day beds and swing away!! Happy spring 🌼

Funny, when we moved in a bigger home like your with the kids we bought sooo much to fill it up! That now we down sized we sold it all! Couldn’t wait to sell it! Funny how you go through the different stages! It flies by so fast 😢
I would turn the fire pit into a gas fire pit with beautiful rocks. So cozy and much easier than wood fire. (Also no smoke to bother neighbors)
I would either buy more rockers or get swivel cushioned patio chairs for around the fire pit.

Beautiful spaces as always! Loving the red, white and blue touches. That’s what I do from mid May thru August too. Fall decor comes out the day they’re back in school.
We have 4 kiddos from 8-16. I can relate to just cleaning things and then they find ways to leave messes😊
A couple by the pool under the shade is so nice to have. I would be worried about them by the window as I know my kids, They might get rocking or jump up and the back of the chair hit and possibly shatter the glass. Maybe a couple kept there I. The shade and then for sure some by the fire pit. I think it looks cozy, relaxing and welcoming by the fire pit. 💕
I like the rocking chairs in option 1 and then maybe getting some lower chairs for the fire pit. I know what ever you choose will be perfect! Loving the look so far and can't wait for what summer brings.

The rockers look great under your breezeway....but the only problem I think you might have with them there is that 2 of them are right in front of that huge picture window. Children being children, not that they would ever mean to....but at some point one of them or the neighbors children are going to jump into one of them and it's going to swing back HARD....and shatter that window. Windows are replaceable, but the shattering glass might accidentally hurt one them. You are amazingly talented and I love to watch everything you do, I can only ever wish to have the amount of energy that you have. Have a blessed and joyful weekend.❤
Hi Lauren! I like the chairs by the fire pit and maybe some Adirondack chairs by the pool as a lounge area. I could see a long bench under the window area or a buffet table...something long and slender that keeps the entryways into the house clear with more of an open feel. It all looks so beautiful and I like the various "areas" with their own feel and purpose. I just spent the morning working then coming home and starting to plant some pots on the front porch and hopefully tomorrow the deck. I 'm beat but you have inspired me to keep going! I also like doing the front porch in red/white/blue with decor and plant colors and keep it that way for the entire summer. Then I do more colorful florals on the deck. It's a lot of work to get it done but so great when you go out there and can enjoy it! Hopefully this summer I will have more time to actually do the enjoying part as last year I was working so much that it just didn't happen. Seemed I was only out there when I had to water all the plants. This year I'm making it a point to take some well deserved me time on that deck!

Right before you said it I was thinking a buffet table as well in between the two doors.. that way on an everyday basis you can have a big vase with flowers in front of that big window, which doubles as decor you can see from the inside as well! ☺️ But I’m sure whatever you finally decide to do will look lovely! 💕
Yes Is that concept is great!!! With rocking chairs in enclosed patio area 2 daybed swings that way when you come out of your bedroom or your Breakfast area you will not run into anything you have little children so that would definitely work maybe two little tables for drinks? But al in all you did a beautiful job! Table with 🍋's is just so beautiful and summer ☀️ and the fire pit? You said you used it once a month in the year I would definitely put a hot tub out there you deserve it Is so great for your body alittle spa area with color lighting music 🎶 just Relaxation!!

I like the rocking chairs in the breezeway. Maybe get some chairs that you can stack and put out of the way if needed for around the firepit, since you don't use it as often. I was thinking a nice little daybed of some sort would be nice in the spot between the 2 doorways. That would be a wonderful spot to get a cat nap in with all that shade. It all looks very lovely and cozy.

How do you deal with “creepy crawlers?” I think any option you choose will be wonderful. The rockers in the fall would be perfect around the fire pit. Summer where they are now. A cute small table and chairs would be nice by the bedroom doors for morning coffee or a lunch in the shade. Some plants and flowers around….aw, heaven!

The rocking chairs look great as option 1. Another type of chair would be awesome around the fire pit, the rocking chairs seem too tall/big for that area. The day beds would be awesome. Go for the outdoor tv. I bought my husband one for his birthday 5 years ago and he loves watching sports every weekend outdoors. We have large outdoor living seating and love watching a movie as a family too. Seriously the best purchase! Everything looks amazing Lauren. You are very talented
