Best of luck with your new chapter in life! Btw, yes you do need a laptop to submit assignments and exams (some classes may require quizzes to be submitted online, since after covid many college classes have been more reliant on using laptops) I recommend getting a Microsoft surface book since you would prefer writing pen and paper too. I feel like some classes usually I would need to type the notes down as professors talk way too fast for pen and paper.
