I made this and everybody gobbled it up so fast I didn't even get a piece, so I had to make another for just hubby and me. It's delicious!
You didn't say "let me run you through the ingredients so we can get started" and I was like "what's going on" 😂

I've always LOVED that Laura eats the food at the end of the tutorial. Most cooks/chefs/bakers don't bother which always makes me think 'okay, why aren't you eating it?' nothing major in the great scheme of things but it's one of the many things I love about her and why I've kept watching all these years

Yum! My grandma would sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on the pie crust scraps and bake them off with her pie and make us little treats to eat!!!

My grandmother did that too! It was my favorite part of pie making!
My mother would bake the leftover crusts(scraps) with a little bit of strawberry jam9homemade too).She called them tarts and we thought they were the best part.

Here in Brazil we do a little bit different. We do a nice pastry cream and fill it till half pie then we put the strawberries. It's wonderful

This is my family's favorite pie and your recipe is exactly the one I have used for 35+ years. I never thought about placing the whole stemmed berries throughout, but how sweet looking! I will be doing this next time!! Anyone that has never had this strawberry pie must try. I guarantee it will be a favorite!!

Laura i made your STRAWBERRY PIE i actually made 2 for EASTER and they were amazing everyone raved about them ! I mixed the filling with whipped cream & filled the pie shells.It was light & airy definitely a keep recipe.

My mom has a recipe similar to this but it's for raspberry pie! And it has a shortbread type of crust that you just press into the pan. So yummy!
