Any system with powerful autocratic government with global manufacturing orders coming in is bound to develop, so China is doing exceptionally well thanks to the global free market economy and the GATT agreement it signed in early 1990s. Of course, the free global market economy is exactly to the closed communist economic model, but China doesn't care about it as long as it is reaping the benefits. It should shed it's communist mask and transform into democracy. But, that would cause in China though, as the unrest in various parts of the country cannot be cracked down effectively under a democratic government, so this current situation benefits China. If it were to become democracy, it will collapse soon under the immense pressure and chaos coming out of Muslim population in China.,

I visited the city in 1982 and 1983 and stayed in that hotel next to the Bell Tower when it first opened. it was just a few years after the Cultural Revolution and Deng's decision to open up the country. Poverty was still so visible back then. there were starving people standing behind you in restaurants to take what you could not finish. china has really come a long way. i would give credit to a stable government and the sacrifices made by a few generations of hard working people. really enjoy your video. what you are doing could help bridge the gap between chinese and indian people.
And the same we experienced when I visited India. people lined up for money, food and haggled over for taxi. It was memorial trip from Germany in 1990 and 1991.

Looking at how the Chinese people treating foreigners in their country and the way the outsiders think about them makes me feel bad about these amazing people. From what i have seen on the internet the european/american media, the indian media, and even the koreans whom i believe they are the same as the chinese with similar looks and culture have worked so hard to demonize these people and i don't know why. As a human being i wish them a healthy, wealthy and prosperous life. I'm not interested in traveling but if i do in the future China would be the country that i will visit.

Updated my bucket list, I definitely want to visit China . I have lived in america for the past 4 years for college and the media there always talk about how evil the Chinese are towards their Muslim population. Although some of it might be true, it seems to me like a lot of it was exaggerated also. The food market looked amazing with so many tasty options and the people looked very friendly, living in harmony. Great vlog once again
I have visited Xiaoshoan, Hangzhou, etc in china, there are many mosques, churchs in zhejiang province but I never found a new temple (unless old temple).
Actually china respect all religion as long as they obey the rule, not violent or teach radical against the country.
I accompanied my friend to go to catholic church every sunday although I am not cristian. thera are many foreigners in the catholic church in hangzhou. I stayed in zhejiang for 1 years.
China is very safe. I can walk in the middle of night. although most of them are atheis but they know how to behave well. their teacher, parents teach them well.
