As someone who lost both their sense of taste and smell for a month from Covid, I would rather deal with that then lose my memories.
The one weird thing about losing your sense of taste is your eating experience is all texture. You don't realize how much different foods coat your mouth and its weird.

Knowing someone who suffered Dementia loosing memories of a major chunk of your life is horrifying.
I'll take loosing taste buds, I can cope with that. But having the constant reminder that I somehow forgot 5 years of experiences, friendships, and growth would haunt me.
There is a also the risk that your personality would reset to how you were 5 years ago.

As a massive music fan I just want to say that I love that the tongue in the thumbnail is The Rolling Stones’ band logo, but for the actual question I would honestly say taste because within the last five years I started college and formed a band with some friends from my program, which has been a lot of great fun and I don’t want to forget about any of that

We have some music out on Spotify but it's just a rough demo (since we wanted to get something out by the end of 2023), we're always doing a lot of writing so this year we're hoping to put a full album out and include a better reworking of that other song because it definitely needs some refinement

so lets go over the logistics of ooffing 100 children every day. there are currently 8.1 billion humans of which round a quarter is a child. with the estimate of living another 60years under that restriction thats 21900 days or a total body count of 22 million at the end of your life. of the 2 billion children that just currently exist that would hardly even put a dent into it. so despite sounding like an insane number can we instead reformulate that question to would you rather oof 0.01% of the world population over pressing the delete button on your family tree
