As re-flow with heat gun did not work even board gets worst due to the bend in the motherboard. The bend in the motherboard causes a break of the solder ball pads circuit. So I have to spend a lot on purchasing the machine.

I already bend my cpu by the process of reflow using a heat gun which i dont even it's name THE MACHINE or REWORK STATION MACHINE

No it cannot, but the ohms redings could be around 3 to 4 Ohms.

We need not replace them, they are just weak not short circuits.

Hello Idrees. I bought same PS3 with same YLOD problem and I found VERY FUNNY THING. When you disconect BR drive from motherboard, YLOD is gone and PS3 starts normally. Could it be NEC/TOKIN problem, how do you think? Or it might be PSU, but fans start and work well even with BluRay connected.

It is really funny. But the fault seems to be from the BR Drive Daughter board.

I thought you only needed the link wires if you remove capacitors both sides of the board ?

Yeah that's right you only use wires if replaced both side of the board and even then you only use two wires .
I doubt it's the token's anyway usually the heat from installing the tokind get things going again for a few days them Boooooom beep beep beep back to square one the RSX is shot
