I have worked for David Gilmore and he is not selfless or altruistic (why would he want the camera there in the first place) he is a narcissistically egotistical ass who wouldn’t give you the time of day unless you paid him! In the late 80’s I was working as a junior architect in Hampton hill (he lived, and still does in Sunbury on Thames, on his riverboat) we did several projects for him none of which were paid on time or in full! He is so talented but his own personality is not in any way shape or form congruent with his talent, what a sad man he must be when he’s just counting out his royalties!😢

Just amazing. They both complemented each other's music, and David Gilmour to recognize such a talent despite him being one of the best musicians, and bring him to stage with him. Could have not picked a better song to incorporate that talent with. Just perfect with the solemnity of the song.
Not only is Gilmour on the Mount Rushmore of rock guitarists, but he is truly a beautiful soul which of course comes through in his elegant and souring vocals.
