    I can’t wrap my head around the magnitude of damage. This seems WAY more destructive than what a fire would be capable of. The soundtrack chosen is absolutely PERFECT for the eerily desolate aftermath of such a huge catastrophe. Another great addition to a growing collection of historical images you have curated here. I also really appreciate the non-narrative presentation of these images. We can all indulge in our wildly fantastic speculations, here in the comments section. 😆

    Thank you for that and the very fitting music . Funny how similar great fire damage and civil war damage are . I wonder if a person could find evidence that certain buildings were targeted or spared ...

    This is the way Stockholm city looked like in 1960. They DEMOLISHED 700 old World buildings. Thank You

    Strange how fire destroyed so many masonry buildings. That one bank withstood it though. It looks more like a WW2 bombed city.
