- Today you meet David Bronstein. Or maybe you know of him already. He was runner-up for world chess champion in 1951 and here we see him play as a nearly-retired legend. Except: Old is Gold.

@@SkeletonKingy yeah but dont mention it in other peoples videos
ok
Everytime I watch some of chess analysis, I feel like learning something new.
And after, I will go into a game and make 5 consecutive blunder
Me blundering my pieces everytime I watch videos like this thinking it was a brilliant move😳💀😭😭😭😂
Nice game ty Zach
i cant belive how this guy dont have 1 million sub yet
What is "a 1 million" ?
@@thatbostic2bro did u go to school? Google existed?
1 million = 1'000'000
True, His contents are really good👀💎
@@Sweet_Jelly39his contents??? ayo!??

i think im hooked on to these reviews on games that have extremely good contents, keeps me out from the boring and teaches me more on chess. Thank you Zach!
Your content is amazing bro. Please make reviews of such games more. Its really entertaining!
Thank you so much ❤ I appreciate you
I into chess videos and this is the first video of yours I've seen .WOW .I've subbed immediately. A brilliant analysis of brilliant moves .
I'm a pretty bad amateur player but your boundless enthusiasm for strategy makes me want to get into it more and learn the deep stuff
love the way you present the game.thank you
love your kindness :)
Good vid, it would be cool if you put the link to the review/database in the description for these games
I have this game on one of my father's chess books,he also was a GM with a rating of 2460… sadly i lost him on 2012 due to Cancer complications..
Nevertheless i enjoy playing the game, analyzing it,hence i used to do this routine with my dad.
You've got a new subscriber here, greetings from Greece.
I'm sorry for your loss, sir.
Ignacio Pérez Cataluña?😮
I am out of words to express how much I was amazed by the game as well as your comments 👍👍
thank you... Tal's games are always beautiful
Wow, 5 jaw dropping moves and 3 such moves in a row!!! Thank you very much for this wonderful game.
That was an amazing game, and you presented it very well! Great video and channel, def a new subscriber from me
17:00 He's up 8, you didn't mention White's got two pawns. Thanks for the game. I was reading 'Endgame' last week, Frank Brady's biography of Bobby Fischer, with lots of new material and a more objective assessment of Bobby which I thought was fairer. Bobby twice mentioned that he was most wary of Bronstein; thus through analysis, he felt Bronstein was the most dangerous because he could play all aspects of the game brilliantly. I enjoy your channel, keep it up!
This guy is so good to hear, very nice video
❤️
Wow! Good analysis of a little-known classic Bronstein attacking brilliancy! Bravo.
Anyone else just love Zach's personality?
That was awesome!
Thanks for sharing
best discover of the years! subed! i love how you wished a great day at the end, thank you, to you too
It's so enjoyable to watch this kinds of videos
thank you... Tal's games are always like that
Thank you for such a good review. What country are you from?
🙌🙌🙌🙌 what a analyst Zach is
Incredible game
i like this BRILLIANT MOVEE.. i love your video❤
Keep it up👏
Bro took the sacrifice of the rook to another level
Bro you are even more better than gothamchess and I ain't even lying about it.. wish you all the very best... May you become chess number 1 youtuber someday
Hoh-che-vayn, hoh like in go, che as in Bach or Loch, and vayn as in vain. That's where my father's family is from.
I loved it. You went really slow (but not too slow) and I found 3 of the 5 brilliant moves. It's just the best to feel a genius. Thank you.
Extraordinaire génial,,,,j’adore..un grand merci
thank you
Outstanding 😱🫡
Very good selection and nice game.❤❤❤
7:47 if white protects with pawn black bishop can take the a pawn
but if he doesn't protect and black takes with the queen he could move his knight to fork the queen and the d pawn and will get back the pawn
Very nice move
13:43 i was analising the game and the engine says that the best move here is not rxd5 but nxd5, rxd5 is a good move according to the engine. So apparently the game had "only" 4 brilliants. Still a wonderful game
16:07 Actually in this position the best move is blocking with your rook to delay checkmate even longer
Kinda yeah but it's only 1 move anyway and it wouldn't change anything
@@minibrawl6733 Yea ik but something like stockfosh would say that
LMFAO Bro this guy's smile.
Such brilliant games have improved my stamina too.
Thanks
This is really amazing!💖
so sick!
What an amazing game 👍🏻👍🏻💕
love the analysis.I did not expect any brilliant moves 😭love you Zach!! I would absolutely love a response.
love you ❤️
thanks for the reply I have subbed liked and commented on almost all of your vids!!@@thechessnerd
😂😂Really.... What was that!!!
i can't believe this game started with d4, what a game
low key hard to believe, I agree
Same
The sort of finish I dream of but never find! But I keep trying!
I have realized if you get your armies around the opponents king you will come across such sacrifices.you will start noticing it
Just bring a lot of pieces around the king
target king only with all force
Great video
At 16:13 we could sacrifice queen at f8 square followed by mate in one by rook
nah king has a square after rook check, that is the e7 square
We need to show this Levy !! too many rook sacrifices 😂
Love you Zach❤️ also i wanna submit my 12 move long game Where can i do so?
Красотища
good relaxing video!!
Honestly saw all of the brilliant moves when 1 move before they happened
This was great!
Thanks!!
what is ur chess theme
13:26 i think you can't take zach 😅 the rook is hanging 😅
but then you could move the white b pawn and fork blacks rooks and win it back
@@user-mf8ll2pw5land then you make a queen :]
I think you defined Nimzo Indian defence wrongly . Nimzo is characterized by d4 Nf6 c4 e6 Nc3 Bb4 i.e after Bb4 only it is considered Nimzo otherwise different openings like BOGO Indian defence may appear .
Correct me if I am wrong.
By the way this is an extremely high level game , shows quite well how strong these world champion candidates are , can easily destroy titled players even when they are old and not in best shape of mind.
Thanks for the game
Thank you for pointing out this inaccuracy. 🙏👍🏽
?
Why does he not live stream him playing?
He does! On Twitch :)
I found all the brilliants but couldn’t calculate past the move 😭
Rd8!!
ayo i saw the 5 moves checkmate with 2 brillianciea 😮
until when is prime age for a chess player?
Usually mid-30s
In one of his interviews before he die, he confessed he had to throw or lose the last game against Botvinnik since his father's life was threaten. Since he is not a real Russian, Botvinnik was preferred by KGB. He was truly a brilliant man. He learned English language by reading a dictionary only!
Omg. I literally knew that C4 move was going to be played. If anybody takes rook takes and check wins back material. With a brilliant move. I’m actually becoming really good at puzzles because of your videos. Thank you for making those tactic videos earlier!
At 16:45 black was 8 points ahead
@thechessnerd i Literally paused the video and find all five moves no joke
French payer yeah
Victoria ❤❤❤IMACULATTA
from this time 15:46 he should have just check mate with other rook with back rank check mate
its not checkmate, king can escape Ke7 Qb4+ Kf6
Sacrifice gamblet
IMACULATTA ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
no way u said hoegevoen😅
I think not only the white was brilliant but the black was bad
cool!
Bro he has the best vids for nerds like us🤓=😎😎
why didn't black take the first incursion of the white rook?
i see all brilliant moves
tal's games are always awesome
same
hello
This guy is not better than me
He said the queen is trap but that's not true.

Dude i have seen better games by bronstein and not against a nobody but against the best in the world at the time.
hated the commentary, but wonderful stuff on the board..
Sorry to hear, any ways I can do better?
@@thechessnerdI really liked the commentary. It went well with that mona lisa of a chess game.
so you are the hater?
what is your rating kind sir?
Only in Ohio
10:00 I saw every moves that white played from this point onward until checkmate, the d7 pawn was screaming to be captured lol!!
Brilliant game!!
Ps: I'm just terrible at openings (and the traps) and not very good at achieving nice position to actually getting a chance at executing brilliant moves!! 🥲
Btw it was a nice game by both of them!! Bc6 move (although inaccurate by the engine) is definitely an interesting move in that position!
