@10:18 “of course I’m not a Lumenologyst, if that is a real word”.... after an almost 80 hour week, this line caught me of guard and I couldn’t not stop laughing for about 5 mins..... 🙏 I needed it
I'm all fenix for the last 4 yrs, head lamp, pocket light, and Sir this is I really want, I just bought one mins ago 😂.. I was work on Mechanic shop, head light on me 8/8 hours.. honestly some time get little uncomfortable , I bought an Olight, but it's doesn't move like this fenix... God fenix really know what they do for Mechanic guys... thanks Sir for your time doing this video... you have a great day Sir ...
Here’s the link to the light www.fenixlighting.com/product/fenix-wt25r-adjustable-head-flashlight/ Retail is $79.95 and it is well worth it ! As you can tell by my old blue box this video has been shot for a while. Update on the light: it’s still going and is a great little light, battery and connections are still doing great.
Man I have a couple still and it’s crazy how dim they are. I remember when I was a kid those were the bright lights. They don’t even compare to today’s penlights anymore.
Yup get an olight Baton 2 that’s clips to your hat and is shorter than your thumb and magnetically rechargeable with replaceable batteries (stream light doesn’t offer that) I promise you it will change how you think about lights forever!
Mr clay I seriously suggest you look at the olight flashlights. The baton three is shorter than your thumb and can put out 1200 lumens.. I use the baton 2 every single day at work looking in right spots. It clips onto a hat and only weighs a couple of ounces so I often forget it’s on top of my hat. They put Fenix lights to shame with price/performance. They don’t have a lifetime warranty but I promise they are as tough as nails
You must have an ancient olight because they are almost all magnetically rechargeable until you get to the really stupid strong ones like my marauder 2 that can put out 14,000
I have quite a few Fenix lights of different types. All great lights except for the older ones that the dang AA batts destroyed by breaking down. I like that design and especially that magnetic charge cable.🤘🏻
Morning Clay that’s an awesome flashlight. Going to have to look into that one for sure. Hope the big storm that went through the Deep South missed u guys an the family is safe an sound
Check out the wt16r also. Not as bright but also has a flip head and a flood light. Cornwell has a nice flip light I use for the house and rotates with a flashlight and a flood light. They also sell a flip light and flip light mini but the swivel light is better in my opinion.
I would like to find a pen light like the stream light with a flex head like the fenix so you can have it in you chest pocket and have the light shining away from you when your on a creeper or what not.
I’ve burned through countless Nebo’s in my life.. they are good at the start. And then after a month of hard use the LED’s start to flicker and dim andthey don’t take it back on warranty if the light is still (working) so I stopped dealing with nebo
That looking alike the flashlight I'm looking for with the brightness of 1 click before burn my retina. I hope the price not super salty alike Surefire, and not get hot as Surefire body does.
I like how it has a magnetic base wubble add that's an idea I wish I would have came up with you can change the battery when it wears out I'll get one if it don't break the bank Boston 1000 lumens you can't go wrong there $82 with shipping a drop in the bucket I got one
I just got this light and had high hopes but the magnet is too weak. I don’t know if they are all like this but I am going to try to exchange or even return this.
OK I jumped the gun as far as the magnet is concerned. It is weaker than I expected, but plenty strong enough to do the job. I carry and use it every day at my job as a maintenance man who does everything including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, concrete, and equipment operation. It is my favorite light. I lost it for about a week and was going to order another one right away but luckily I found it.
Or for 20 bucks cheaper you could get an olight warrior mini that puts out 1500, has a rechargeable 18650, and no little dingleflap rubber hanging off the side. Which I would have to say is the best, they are of the same quality as surefire, without the surefire price tag.
Clay no men can have to many lights its just all the dam cords my power strip looks like a octopus. I did just get a coast XPH34R and its is bright and its not a DUCK....🔧🔧🔧🔧
I see the future, side of the road repair job and your light needs a charge so you get the cord you grabbed as you were flying out the door and it won't fit that light, but it will fit every other light back at the shop. Just what we need, another cord.
Will this flashlight light up an entire engine bay stuck to the hood at night? Or would you recommend something else for a guy at the drag strip that working on his car at the track...
On your recommendation, I bought this light, well I’m horribly disappointed on this light....especially for 80 bucks, trying to get my $ back on this one
What issue are you having? I have had mine close to a year and had zero issues with it at all, obviously mine was a prototype so they could have changed some things since then? I have no idea about the manufacturing processes they do or if they changed anything. But that being said mine has worked like a champ since it was sent to me.
Nope I have to say Clay I absolutely hate these lights that have so many functions I want a light I can turn on and off No strobe no six different levels If it needs to have two levels then there should be a separate button for the low level because as I think it was matco Mike said everybody wants it on high...
Just press it one time on and off ? It only changes the settings if you hold the button down for a while. But I like the dimming function because (I never thought I would ever say this but it is almost too bright at times in an engine bay and the low is just right)
Not a sponsored video they didn’t even ask a video to be made. I’m guessing you commented before even watching the video...... Clearly said in video this was a prototype light they sent me to just get feedback on, they didn’t even have them in production when it was filmed. No box, no paperwork, just the light for me to give them feedback on the design, they weren’t expecting anything more. I liked the light and thought it was a good light so I made a video showing it. It’s been shot for a year (took them that long to get the light on the market)
@@KoonTrucking yes I watched the video. I was curious how a company approached you and gave you a free flashlight that's not even on the market yet and I got some serious QVC feels. I can't recall one negative you said about the product. But you had a lot of inside information such as release dates and such. Walks like a duck. Sounds like a duck.... 🦆
I said in the video it was a prototype they sent me to give them feedback on, they didn’t send it for a review. That’s another reason why this video is a year old .....
@@KoonTrucking If you given something for free and you decide to do a review on it all I'm asking is the video to have the sponsored content on it. Doesn't matter if it was a 40 buck flashlight or a 40 grand toolbox. If you are gifted something it's still compensation if the directly ask you to do a video or not. I love your videos Koon. I just think the video should have the stamp.
What part of that did I miss when I clearly said “They sent me this light” in the freaking video? Come on man .... You heard me say it but they didn’t send it for a video that was my choice.

Can never have to much of a good thing, tools, guns, lights, and knives!!!!
I have used fenix lights for 10 plus years. They are always top notch lights for the money
Makes me feel old looking back at the old mag lights I used to hold for my dad
Man I have a couple still and it’s crazy how dim they are. I remember when I was a kid those were the bright lights. They don’t even compare to today’s penlights anymore.
Fenix flashlights have been my number one choice for years. Quality products
Lumenologyst describes you perfectly! 😂
Man clay, you already got me hooked on the Astro 52SL ... your light addiction is becoming a problem for my wallet, lol
Haha
This a great one for the pocket for sure. You got to have different lights for different tasks ! Haha
😝 The struggle is real, Spartacus!
Amen to that brother lol
Your the worlds first Lumenologist! 😎
Fenix has amazing lights I would say the best lights and head lamps
By the time I get to Fenix she’ll be risin’, she’ll probably leave a note on the door!
Love Fenix. This style light should have been out 10 years ago. It's 2021, no more holding lights in your mouth.
Yup get an olight Baton 2 that’s clips to your hat and is shorter than your thumb and magnetically rechargeable with replaceable batteries (stream light doesn’t offer that) I promise you it will change how you think about lights forever!

Very nice light i got to have one of those thanks for sharing this
Just ordered one off their website if you sign up with your email you get 20% off $63 shipped
Nice
Looks like a great light.
Thanks for sharing!
Now the real question is do you have the light of all lights..... the “fleshlight” 😂
Ha ha no
Instead of strobe it vibrates!
Morning Clay that’s an awesome flashlight. Going to have to look into that one for sure. Hope the big storm that went through the Deep South missed u guys an the family is safe an sound
Yeah we got missed thankfully. It’s a cool little light for sure
Great video Clay I will have to look into this light
Subaru techs said oh snap at the battery
I'm gonna have to try this one out

Good morning, Clay. I hope you and the family have a wonderful Sunday.
EDIT: removed my price guess after noticing Clay posted the retail price.
Thank you for the well wishes. Hopefully you have a great day also
I bought this light, I feel the magnet is too weak compared to snapon project lights.
I would like to find a pen light like the stream light with a flex head like the fenix so you can have it in you chest pocket and have the light shining away from you when your on a creeper or what not.
Nice light was this a old video no white toolbox and the green box is back
Almost a year old
You must have shot this video way back before you sold your Snappy blue box. Didnt see the Matco White box.
It’s about a year old
I bought one. I was in the market for a rechargeable light for my tool bag.
Good choice!
Hey Clay thanks for the link I just ordered one.
They are 79.95 on the website
watched this video had to buy the light
Slurp!
NEBO has the same style light and it's $25 at my local feed store. Bends the same way, magnet on bottom and rechargeable. Check them out also.

Could you do a work boot review, what do you wear? And ur opinions whether it be redback, Walmart brand etc. also thoughts on insoles?
Redback. I’ve talked about it before several times
LED LENSER, 1K lm. F1R $90 best ever hands down

How long ago was this filmed considering see see your blue box?
About a year ago, that’s how long it took them to get them in production
DEFINITELY ULTRA BRIGHT BRIGHT. Like to get a few of those and stick them all over the engine above and below.

No way 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Well crap here's another light I gotta buy...lol
I like the size.. I miss if you said how long will it last on high?
I never ran it all the way down but after 40 mins you could tell it had lost some power and dimmed some but it is still plenty bright
How does this flashlight compare to Nitecore MT21C. They seem to be almost the same with same specs.
I have no clue this is the only one I have

I would go for an underhood light myself
Good video. Which do you have more of ratchets or lights.
Ratchets

Even better with 20% new member discount, good stuff

$79

Milwaukee pivot flashlight is better. Flood and spot beams.
Better than the macrostream?
For working with yes due to the magnetic base and flex head
