As a Bradford City fan, I never thought I'd have respect for Leeds fans like I did on Friday night. I was in front of them where they were close to the Wednesday fans and had some really nice interactions with them. They celebrated well and kept the atmosphere brilliant. And most of all, didn't cause trouble. It might be age, or seeing other away fans at Hillsborough, but I definitely have a different perspective of Leeds fans after that. Plenty of young fans too with smiles on their faces and having fun, Leeds United is a family club. Well played on the pitch and well played to the supporters in the stand. I don't hate Leeds anymore.
I’m Leeds through and through I live in Leeds, can tell you 100% everyone here was upset about the tragic fire at valley parade (on the same day as a leeds supporter tragically killed at the Birmingham city game) we are no different to any other set of fans, we love our club but we are football people and generally very decent people, Hillsborough, Heysal, valley parade, Birmingham, Munich, Hampden, that is in no order and not complete by far but all those plus more are all tragic….minority of our club support have issues but the majority do not we just have a beer and banter 👍
