  • Turn your factory Camry fog lights to a more better and brighter LED lights.
This can change the look of ur Camry and make it look more newer and luxurious.
These have some sort of built in resistors that counter the hyperflash due to the computer assuming the LED bulb is a halogen bulb that is Burnt out, or because it doesn’t recognize it due to less electricity needed.
These Bulbs have super bright turn signals, very helpful for drivers in front of you, especially at night. The white lights, aren’t as bright as the 2015-2017 XSE standard led, but noticeable in a sunny day, very noticeable at night.
You can install these on the XSE/XLE V6 or 4 banger as well.

ok, looked for the name of the LED lights on your other videos....didn't find it. Your replacement of the bulbs seems easier than other videos, just need a little more details (like actually seeing your hands moving the lightbulbs etc etc.
Not bad for a first video al in all.

Yesterday I replaced a bad LED on the pass side of my 2015 Camry. Piece of cake. Today I decided to match the LED on the driver's side. It's a Hybrid. What a pain on the drivers side with the hybrid electrical crap hogging the space. I gave up because I ran out of light. I could get the bulb in but not twist it to lock. I tried to put the old LED bulb back in and wait because it was shaped differently. I had to leave the power cable off to manipulate it in place though. You know what happened next. The bulb is now rolling around on the chassis frame and I decided to wait until daylight to fish it out. Not going anywhere anyway. And so it goes.

I agree, passenger side was a piece a cake, only thing that was interrupting the installation was the wiper fluid tank. My Camry isn’t a hybrid so the drivers side wasn’t difficult. (cheap led sequential strip tube lights) I’m curious, do you have a hybrid se or le? I know the XSE/XLE “15-17 have factory fog led lights, way different than mine. Have you tried twisting the other way? Did you made sure the bulb is fully connected to its socket?

XLE. Got a great deal on it. Original sticker was in the glove compartment. $36K. Picked it up for $15K with less than 30K miles on it. Mistake was wanting leather that wasn't black. Got it and hard to keep the beige clean. There is only one blank spot in the accessory button panel below the steering wheel. Have no idea what it's missing but I still don't know how to deal with all of it. Your manual was probably like mine: 3 volumes and hundreds of pages. I still never remember how to remote start it with the dongle because I do it so little. Great mileage though. Nothing like turning it off and seeing that notification on the dash: 29, to 49mpg. Saw 53mpg once. On reg unleaded too. The old Infinity Q30 took premium and maybe 25-29mpg. But what a kickass Bose stereo system it had!!! Miss that.

XLE. Personally I like the bumper more than the one I have. The led factory fog lights are way brighter in the day than the aftermarket switchbacks I have. Although the yellow blinkers are significantly brighter

@@joelbautista04 I will tell you this. I'm 6'2" and getting in and out is a little tight overhead. I wish the steering wheel extended further. I wish it had more shoulder room and better padded seats. My wife's Sonata Limited actually has more shoulder room, passenger or driver side and a mafia size two man trunk and that panorama roof that no one really ever uses.
My touch screen has quite working so I do the audio stuff through the steering wheel for now. Can't do anything with the GPS other than it tracking the car. It's looks to be an easy repair on YT but $200 and you have to get the right screen on Ebay or no returns on electronics. You pretty much have to pull it first and check all the ribbon cables and connectors to make sure you are buying the right thing. Pull a few clips and trim pieces, pull the unit, remove the protective screen and then the touch screen. About 13 tiny screws. Unplug. Replung and put it all back together and hold your breath that that was the problem. Easy peasy. Until it isn't.

@@joelbautista04 Joel, you do way more vanity moding than I do, but of all the LED replacements which would you recommend that you have found the most beneficial. I do realize that once you put an LED near a halogen you immediately want to replace them all, but after headlights, where would you go next on my 2015 XLS.
Next question. Did you find you had to replace a bunch of those plastic fasteners for body and trim panels? It seems once out, they don't fasten well, if at all. Why don't they make them from nylon? $5 more per car so I'll buy a Ford instead?

@@joelbautista04 I was wondering what the led bulbs you are using being my daughter has 2017 Camry LE I went on ebay they have many kinds of running led bulbs that you are showing in this video but there are so many different kind of colors there are ones that are called switch backs not sure if they are yellow & white led lighting so when a turn signal flashes the bulb would flash yellow but when turn signal is not being used the led would display bright white as fog light, what led bulb # type are you using in this video is it the 7043/7044? Switchback non hyper flash? there is much to choose from on eBay but I stick with only lasfit brand bulbs there are lot of un named brands that are usually junk but I used all lasfit LEDs on low & high beams on my truck they work great..

    • @joelbautista04
      @joelbautista04  Před rokem

@@BurtBowers lasfit is currently #1 best for Toyota switchbacks. Any others you see on ebay Amazon, Facebook groups are most likely garbage due to that fact you may require resistors to compensate a regular halogen turn signal lights. The problem with resistors is that they emit so much heat it’ll burn off the housing or damage it. Unless you manage to have a metal surface for resisters, I just dont want you to take that risk. Just spend a little more on high quality built in non heat resistor switchbacks like lasfit.

You probably got only one like because you didn't seem to know what you were doing. You managed to pull it off but didn't inspire confidence. You should have done a test on one side first and then did the video on the second side. Good advice on the resistors though.

My first ever “mod” in this car. Video quality and it being night time ain’t a excuse, had a iPhone 8. Currently have a IPhone 11. My car knowledge back then was very poor.
