I heard this song by Chief Commander for the first time. “CHIEF COMMANDER EBENEZER OBEY-CORONATION OF OBA ADEJIMI ADU ALAGBADO OGOOGA IKERE EKITI PART 2” That is the song that made me Realize that He was Really the Father of the start of the (Garage Music) …K1 and the other boys are now pulling in the Big Bucks …That song Messed with my Ears like no other song of his did before. At first I could not know who was singing although Chief Commander is the, in my Humble Opinion the Absolute, Best out of Mama Africa!!! He is a 12 in the Studio and Live there is no Number to associate with him!!! The song kept going in and out of JuJu and Fuji, Fuji and JuJu!!! And now K1 is paying Homage to his Father!!! Very Proper thing to do!!! We make VERY GOOD MUSIC here in ameriKKKa. But in late 1992 when I first came into the African Community it was then I discovered that we were Only Half Stepping. When our Creator was passing out Gifts he gave the Gift of Music to Mama Africa and Boy oh Boy did they make good use of it!!! Then I just had to listen to this song!!! “EBENEZER OBEY SPEICAL LIVE FOR ATANDA AGBOOLA”. This is a PERFECT PIECE OF COMPOSITION OF MUSIC, That’s why I give him the name (The Mozart of Mama Africa)!!! If you know and Love African Music then you know that the Horns belongs to Ghana (The Origin of High Life Music), the Guitar belongs to the Congo and the Drum belongs to the Yoruba of Nigeria. We know that it would NOT be Juju or Fuji without the Fufu. But this man gives Deference to his Guitars, they are Treated like a Spoiled Brat, doing Anything that they want!!! … and Boy oh Boy do they make their Dad Proud!!! If you have NOT heard this song then you owe it to yourself to sit down and allow his Guitars to Mess with your Ears.
