Jethalal drooling over Babita is something which looks cringy now.
To be very honest it's always been disgusting to me. It's pathetic how they show a married man with a grown child simping and crushing over other married woman, and also how he treats hiw own wife with no love in front of babita. It's terrible how most of us grew up watching this and thought it's normal and found this very funny, well in actual life, it's not. I don't remember seeing any other married woman running after some other boy, all the women in the serial are projected as a ‘perfect' housewife, fully committed to their husbands, while the husbands drool over other women with no sense of shame.

Asking Monika taht 'Woh baar baar kyu wapas aa jaati hai' like dude seriously she did her work and its her right to ask why she is not getting paid for it. Like imagine you work hard and in return your payment keeps getting delayed for almost1 year. kisi ko bhi gussa ayega. are woh apne hakk ke pais e maang rahi hai jo usne mehnat karke kamaye hai, you should not just humiliate her. I'm watching this show since start and I've never expected this happens behind. Its really shocking. aur actresses ko rok ke rakhna even after their shoot completed is just so wrong like they've their personal life to live. I don't know Jennifer (I only knew her as an actor who played Roshan) and I don't know Asit either, so it would be inappropriate for me to comment. But there again, I feel something is fishy . So many actors have been leaving the show, and many of them claimed that they had not been paid . Moreover, Asit has not said anything yet.
I don't want the show to be boycotted or banned, as it would take a toll on everyone's livelihood, but Asit is going to have to eat a humble pie and confess that he mistreated the actors .
When so many actors leave the show especially female actors then really they are not being treated fairly by the makers, even they are not paying them enough.
Earlier i thought that they are leaving because the show is running since a long time and they are bored of it but even yrkkh is running since a long time but except for hina no one left it (if not needed).

What asit said in 2017 may be wrong because there's no republic episode in 2017 due to sakharam kidnapping story. So if Asit Modi is right then he must have cancelled the whole story line of the republic day because it was impossible without Tapu's presence.

To be honest the very idea of running the show for this much long in itself is destructive, esa to business m bhi nhi chl pata employees keep changing there as well kyuki when something is going on with a profit motive no matter how positive that work is things do get messed up.

@@alokmishra7225Actually the show glorifies the idea of Jethalal having a crush on Babita Ji (while both he and Babita are married). He used to treat Daya without love when it came to Babita and that's really controversial. (atleast in my eyes)

when I was kid I never thought about it because the show is used to be so funny but now when they show this type of interaction between jeta and babita is cringe and even after all this problematic action of jeta the show will still portray him in good light.
I personally used to never like Taarak Mehta, ka Ooltah Chashmah because of cultures, stereotypes and making fun of many communities such as sikh community, jokes on South Indians, Gujarati tropes and so on. It’s very sad to see the original cast dropping out of the show and the producer shamelessly slamming them and not even giving them their dues.

I was a kid back when then I used to see so many Biased opinions of so called people in Tarak mehta show That time It felt normal to me since i was a kid and it was kind of okay for me as i grew up realizing how Babita was sexualized too much bcz of her appearance .

Tarak Mehta's show became lazy. they never moved on from the early 2010s saga. They should have let Popat get married. They should have let us know why Babita and Anjali does not have children. Or later on, one of them should have had a child born. They have shown that the families’ financial situation was the same throughout the decade. As it is a reality show it could have touched the reality by showing families’ financial situation doesn't stay the same. They could have shown a love triangle and also it is cringe to see that Jethalaal still drools for babita ji. Is Daya still on a journey with her mom? And the main director or producer Asit or whatever from the beginning I knew he was a miser as in tarak mehta no one uses any expensive phone or wears above average clothes .they are still stuck with khaet cheap clothes which don't suit their status in the show. By now jethalal should have owned his own car and Tappu and his gang should be shown as normal grownups.
Actually Jennifer also stated that even though she hasn't received her money she's not doing it for money she's doing it for the physical and sexist comments that asit made. I mean what do you expect from a girl when she's asked to drink whiskey and called kissable by his producers just imagine instead of knowing legal actions can be taken against him he still says it so shamelessly and even he sent a notice to Jennifer saying that she should back up they warned her that if she doesn't stop making alligations it won't work in her favour and for God sake she just want her apologies she knows that her money is still not coming in long time she just wants her apology for what they have done to her it's just so disturbing and scary to get to know other side of these producers it just shows that acting is clearly the most dangerous carrier for any girl and scary too if actors are treated like that just imagine the struggle of girls this is the situation of both t. V and bollywood

There's a show called FRIENDS whose actors still getting paid for what they have done 20 years ago and there is TMKOC whose actors didn't even getting good treatment and payment on time.
That is called getting loyalty bruv, it's not common in India cinema let alone television.

Exactly, The thing with friends is that they showed change and there was character growth, Rachel was a spoilt brat and then she worked hard and got a job in Louis Vuitton in paris
They showed the actual life of friends in their early 20's and because of this i can watch it again and again and relate to it but with tmkoc, there is no change and not relatable anymore
This serial was a stress buster but gradually it has lost all its charm when one by one the charecters were moving out from the show.
Noy just actors but many old directors & writers left the show...All the problem lies with Asit Modi...He is reason behind the downfall of the show truly 😠 Very unempathetic & greedy person ever.😏

The first 2000 episodes were the best, mind blowing. Just a few minutes ago I was watching Tarak Mehta's old episodes. After watching this video, I don't think I'll ever be able to watch that show again

Who knew that there are such disgusting things going on behind the scenes of so many of ours fav8 serial ?? This intolerable attitude of the makers of this show are making people who once loved the show, just hate it and everything about it... Hence, people are somewhere cancelling it...
Old episodes of TMKOC are just love... I would still say that... We (I am sure many are there like me) have certain memories attached to the show... Like completing our studies and switching on the TV for watching TMKOC at 8:30 sharp... Watching repeat episodes on weekends with siblings, etc...

They should have actually ended this show in 2019, we'd have gotten a nice emotional ending like western sitcoms plus other artists would have gotten enough time to explore their art. I really want other actors to actually star in a new show that does justice to them and their art instead of strangling them into something for years

TMKOC was simply one of the most extreordernary indian shows even created,Old episodes of this show was simply like a gift from God but sadly slowly as time goes on this keeps becoming extremely boring and some times even irritating same goes fore the actors of this show,You can play a same character for somany years without getting extremely bored,Actors needs to be really experimental for me I would say it's extremely good that the actors of this show are leaving as a hint that the producer of this show might stop it At an event organized by a news channel Dhailesh was asked why did he quit the TV show despite being loved for it,To this replied that"In this country publishers were a diamond ring and a writer,Who want to get his books published,Gets a small amount of money".
I really want all those other actors and actress who left the show and now not working with tmkoc come in front and say the truth because this will help the case to move forward and innerway will clarify some points

if a person is a sexual pervert he will be so throughout, so Why would these people wait for 14 years to come up with these allegations? Also, Shailesh Lodha wanted to come back to the show, he had posted some stuff which showed that he was hurt at being replaced. It’s always there with these serial makers esp. daily soaps, that they make their cast work extremely hard, and regular payment is also an issue, so Asit Modi could also be someone following the same path. But these sexual exploitation allegations, they need to be looked in to coz many a times women have used these allegations as a weapon to get back at someone and Jeniffer right now seems quite angry at being fired.
It's offcourse double standard PPL want to work also fight for themselves the producers directors are smart they make PPL quiet so they should handle harrasment, waste time fighting wid them or suicide
