Now, this is a well prepared journalist. What an interview! Kudos to you, Mr. Akeredolu.
😊😊😅😮😢😢😊
When a man of integrity speaks, you see real substance from his pure and well refined mind. I wished he was interested in politics. But if he did that, his real area of Divine Assignment would have suffered grossly. I still have his indictment of the PDP. He called them thieves; and if they were not Ibori would not have been at the PDP PRIMARIES. Good Luck Jonathan unknowingly confirmed what Soyinka was angry about! Mr Jonathan said publicly that he created 100 millionaires! How did he create 100 millionaires? He did so by sharing the money in the Nigerian Treasury. What a shame! That is what Tnubu and and Atiku Abubaka want to perpetuate. The Youths rose up to take back their country.
Mr Yakubu of the INEC SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN DETENTION, awaiting protection. But for the impunity which is the cankerworm which has eaten up the fabrics of Nigeria! Disgusting!!!
Great to see Sir Honorable Wole Soyinka (1 of the great gems) this man is deserving of of the title "Honorable". Not these evil, useless & 🤮 politicians. U foolish keep calling Honorable👏🏿👏🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Ladi himself is a prof albeit in his job. He's the usual go to by Channels TV whenever they need calm
The kongi himself. Much respect sir, may your days be long
Nice job Ladi. Well done. Opinion touters in Nigeria should listen to this and see years of consistency and adherence to a pattern of thoughts, talks and conduct. It is amazing what gets done in the back scenes before the break of day. People just sit watch an interview and begin to cast aspersions. Go through all this and learn the blend of consistency and openness. Those who believe in the nowness of noise making should sometimes hesitate so they can find the wisdom in thinking and silence
Professor Wole Soyinka never disappoints. Very educative and insightful interview
Very brilliant interview with brilliant minds. Thank you Prof and ladi good job
Very insightful & enlightening conversation and only the wise can understand it!
Lady, that's a good job. Please continue to give us similar class interviews from well meaning people.
Tinubu's backbone supporters are a northern hausa fulani cabal comprising people like El-Rufai and Ganduje. These people have an EVIL agenda, similar to the same agenda of mass murder and fulani hegemony that has been the hallmark of the APC federal govt for the past eight years. i pity anyone who is thinking that these people have good intentions for the south.
I have pre foresworn to bounce these ghosts
It is Most reasonable for equity and security .Thanks Prof.
Mr Ladi Ekeredu Ale well done sir we Enjoyed your Service sins when you are Radio OGBC everyweekend don't miss Ladi Long Life sir Longfellow's
This is one is for posterities'. Thank you, Ladi.
People we look up to in a society hide from the issues confronting us a nation
You nailed it. And I'm so ashamed of them.
i have been thinking about this since all the noise and i never hear from them this time how comes they have been shouting for small issues?
@@edwardibeh3276 so he should call a tv station to interview him? They interviewed him, ask him questions and he gave answer. So what is his crime, are you sure you listened to this interview or just looking out for him to praise your messiah, the Atiku boy ?
all your education is a waste.
He's not an obingo mtcheeeww ....😮
So much respects for our dear Nobel laureate. So much respect for Ladi the interviewer. But permit me to refer Ladi to the CZcams video titled “ Wole Soyinka suddenly finds his voice to defend Tinubu..” In that video he will find some of the vital questions he forgot to ask the Prof. I would have loved to hear Wole’s comments on the issues raised in that video. Thanks to Channel for the great work you are doing.
Highly educative episode, happy to learn that some people got punished for the supreme court judgement in Imo State
Excellent Interview
The interview is so comprehensiv, i of he' s for or against whether the election is free and fair or not.
Thanks Prof.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The beautiful thing is that if what and who wole is advocating for, assumes the office, the good and bad of it falls on all of your laps in that hemisphere you call a country. Good luck!
EXCELLENT
Actually! You made the point prof…. This people do not understand the complexity of the issues….. this makes it difficult for them to ever attain the focus required for leadership.
Who is "them"?
Them who?
@@campbelllouis8718 him too doesn't know
@@campbelllouis8718 Igbos ooo🤷🏽♂️. Now what?
That was great
Prof has said more only those with understanding will get slot of messages coded in this interview.
Exciting interview!
Great show. Good to hear and learn from the Nobel Laureate and great statesman.

Thank you Professor!
I wish znigeria will understand their place in Africa, and do much better, cos many people and nations in your continent are looking up to you.
Nigeria🇳🇬 is a big disappointment to the entire Africa.
Brilliant man! Thank you sir, mayGod continue to bless you for your truthfulness!
Dim Emeka Odimegwu Ojukwu wrote "Because I Am Involved."
I wonder how people like Prof Wole Soyinka will feel seeing reversal of some of the gain earn through their struggles.
The man is fed up of the Nigerian state. He has zero interest in preserving this charade we all call a democracy. We have lied to ourselves too much and he has had enough.
@@tkspiece2310 to the contrary he's an optimistic individual and he's definitely hopeful
Excellent interview Akerdolu-Ale. Keep it up.
Always on point and professional. May nigeria of his dream be actualise.
Saý what people can understand about state of rhe nation.
We understood him clearly
We don't need any restructuring what we need now is separation.
I have been concerned about the whereabouts of Prof Soyinka during this elections! Hope he is well because his silence was quite unusual.

How many times can a man protest against the evils in society. I personally believe some of our elders have given up and I don't blame them. Pa Soyinka has spoken and written against the Nigerian state all his life, he's been jailed for it even. Baba is tired of Nigerian state abeg, this fight is for another generation.
Why is he silent?
An impressive piece of interview
That will be great idea,if only Nigerians will be smart, cos it is going to help stop the chaos.
Thank you, I enjoyed following this. A remark: There are many roads to reconstruction, direct and indirect and both, often it’s best to approach indirectly due to power struggle and the obstacles it would create, there is such a thing as being too thorough when campaigning.
Prof Kingsley moghalu should be encouraged to contest for Governor in Anambra. That is where to start
I know the lawyer prof is talking about, his name begins with F and he loves food and ahoof a lot.
I'm his brother, and you are wrong! Peter obi is who Nigeria need. Being educated alone without understanding the poor people's plight will never make a good president.
Applause for a fantastic and deep interview.
Nigeria has such Professors still no development...why...what is missing?. Without Truth no development.
I always wondered why we have someone like Soyinka, but always end up with people like Buhari at the helm of afire.
INEC 🙆♂️
Buhari is responsible. He is the accounting officer of the Nation. Godwin Emefiele is Buhari’s subordinate. If he do good, the glory goes to the President. If he does bad, the President takes the heat of objective criticism.
"Presidency should move eastward in order to heal" Thank you Professor. That's the truth, and that's how you heal the nation and that's how you heal the people.
Easterner are not fools. Rather our oppressors are FOOLS.
It is words like this that incite people against the east. Power has to be negotiated. What Prof said is absolutely spot ON, the ast deserve a look. But you cannot force-feed the idea on people. That only makes things worse. No offense intended
@@oluforijimibadejo5567 So in your mind the election was free and fair and Tinubu is the choice of the people?
@@oluforijimibadejo5567 , please answer this question. Does negotiation imply voter suppression, killing and maiming, snatching of ballot boxes, ethning and religious profiling etc? Please educate me more about " negotiating for power" other than via polical parties?
@@oluforijimibadejo5567 we're still waiting on your response sir

Yes restructuring is the best way to go to reduce the pressure
When the time comes, you must come out and force them to restructure. If they refuse, you must come out and force them to be jailed.
You are part of people who are easily manipulated.
Prof.
I am sick seeing and listening to the state of our nation with intellectuals who are sincere with their comments, like the Prof and their suggestions and recommendations were never approved and implemented to date...worst still those who do not love our nation for personal gains are the ones winning. Solution to all the Mira of problems lies in the hands of 99 people of like minds who are ready to sacrifice their lives despite all odds for the recovery of Nigeria and her citizen from modern slavery for which the Slave Master live within us.
24:00 he was definitely referring to Datti. I don't understand why more media houses didn't condemn those words. 31:51 is Definitely Fani-Kayode and his poisonous words
You get sense jare
Sure
correct guy
This are good men who supported and betrayed Abiola and took a certain portfolio in Babangida government, What a shame.
I see what you did here. You discussed away the main issue; even when you found yourself tilting towards the end product of the “electoral process”, you quickly evaded it and started history lessons while vaguely pointing accusing fingers toward a particular movement. The caption, instead of “roadmap 2023” or whatever that was, should have been “life and times of Wole Soyinka in Nigeria’s political clime”
Which administration if may ask?
How I wish SOYINKA and OBASANJO can agree. I LOVE THEM BOTH.
That's like the light years between planet Earth and planet Pluto!
Obasanjo belongs in the trash. Soyinka is in class of his own.
@@jimifash Day and night!
You don't have anything to lose Prof. Just tell us what we need to hear. You're speaking grammar
He said everything that needed to be said. It depends on how intelligent you are.
He is not speaking grammar. He is speaking truth to power.
He talked about redressing our inequitable past - presidential power must move eastwards.
He talked about a new monster - Religious and tribal intolerance.
He talked about entrenched interest holding the nation captive.
He talked about breaking a mold and a rising youthful resistance.
A comprehensive interrogation and interaction with Wole.
Let us learn from the mistakes of others.
I know you want him to say that:
Obi was rigged.
There should be a rerun.
There should be protests declared across the country.
Tinubu shouldn't be sworn in because the election is now before the courts.
But unlike Obasanjo, that octogenarian Nobel laureate is sagacious and well-mannered enough to know that the worst he'd have done as an elder statesman was pitching his tent for one son against another. They're all supposed to be his children like the African culture begets.
If a winner is then declared amongst these children, the least he'd do is guide them on what's important to do for the nation based on his own experience. And when the winner is running his government, this elder man should be truthful enough to tell that government they're on the wrong path.
And what we want to hear according to you will be a narrative according to your perspective i surpose
@@bimoyeleye5570 Tinubu's backbone supporters are a northern hausa fulani cabal comprising people like El-Rufai and Ganduje. Very intellect discuss with prof. him, the handler is not far from being excellent broadcaster
Prof. Don dey talk funny....good luck to him
We don't need restructuring, all we need is a man of honesty, character and ability to solve problems. Peter Obi is bless with this attributes.
Stop the cap! Peter Obi is nothing but a political prostitute, who says anything to win election and jump from party to party. This is the same Obi that sworn on his own kids if he ever leaves Ojukwu party, right 🤷🏽♂️
Vintage prof. I hope prof. is not endorsing the leaked audio conversation and want me to believe the blogger who said he has passed on…is wrong 😑.
That educated folks seem to have allowed agberos to take over to this extent in Nigeria's democratic experience is embarrassing! Agboros and drug boys must be flushed, we need sanitized new Nigeria as home for our children and all Nigerians.
Every Nigerian is interested in the fight against electoral malpractices chiefly perpetrated by INEC
He went around the subject like he meant well, as soon as everyone went to bed with him at 4am, he brought his knife and slay the sheep. A great example of a wolf in a sheep clothing.
The whole idea of this interview is to murder Labour Party and the Obidients but he failed woefully.
I wonder why there was no water on the table for such a long conversation. Good though.
These old men in Nigeria if you love your country you should listen and hear the cry of your young people
What did ur father and grandpa did to support u, mumu olosho!
It is clear that the professor has a soft spot for Ibrahim Babangida and was willing to forgive the Maman Vasta killing. What about the annulment? How could anyone forgive him of that?
If he can forgive Gowon ...why not ?
He was just speaking in parables
I agree with U.
If you like be a Super Professor, reinforcement of failure doesn't make you look smart. No forceful union works. You have to let Nigeria loose to the extent that the Nations in it will willingly agree to integrate or disintegrate.
That'd be your problem, though.
He's not aware you're alive!
This is a brazen hypocrite.
Ain't hard to find them
A very simple psychological projection.
Break Nigeria.
You mean liegeria
Hypocrites! we know them!
Ojukwu's Because I Was Involved written by Ojukwu is not a book? I am just asking.
Oga wait first with all those old ideologies. We are talking and tackling corruption which has nosedived our current electioneering
No body ask you that, the next president must be elected, not selected?
The honorable and well respected Professor wolf Soyinka just gave his most confusing, unbelievable, disappointing and high grammar filled interview ever. Soyinka didn't see anything bad and criminal in the last election that happened. Its either he's incapable of speaking the truth or he is trying his best not to step on some toes. What a pity !!!
Because you call the election criminal, you think everyone under the sun must agree with you, abi?
You're one of those political supporters he's referring to as all-or-nothing fascists in that interview!
Mind you, not all elder statesmen are like Olusegun Obasanjo!
not everyone must echo your beliefs.....democracy is about divergent views and the ability to make a choice.
Your big lies will soon crash
4k u nitwit
All this old set max 20yrs them will all be gone including tinubu Nigeria will be great again but for me divide Nigeria
Tho a complex speaker of English, but if you understand him your type is the same political supporters he's referring to as all-or-nothing fascists!
Start by moving back into your choked up small hell hole 🕳 🤣
Go sit down. People listen to this guy after his roles in the mid1960s, before/during Nigerian-Biafran war. He should be resting with gray hair cut off to look better.
By seasoned politicians, did ne mean "corrupt politicians". It seems all of a sudden our beloved Prof has started speaking from both sides of his mouth.
Buhari, Yakubu and Tinubu did all these evil to Nigerians. But they are dying in silence. They all have consciences. Just wait and see how PO will be made to be our next president. Pirate (Sea Lord) Wale Soyinka lost our long-held respect. He’s compromised it!!
With due respect, Reuben was wrong to say that folks should chill and come back after 4 years. Are they coming back after 4 years to try to out rig their opponents or what?
The election was clearly won and lost. Do your terrific best to deal with reality.
Dr. Abati"s body language all these while was actually I
in support or the rigging machine of the APC. He has no integrity. The charade of February 25, has exposed all the double-face individuals with fake integrity.
Someone is obviously drinking Gulder here!!
Mr Soyinka ought to be smarter than this. He has been shouting for Restructuring but unable to say how it would improve the nation. For me, what needs restructuring is mindset of Nigerians to do things right. Then things would work.
Can they fu leave Peter Obi and the LP alone. The apc and yakubu stole their mandate and the special purpose vehicle had been buried and you continue to mess with Obi
As a public figure, if you can afford it, verify your Acct. Too many fake accts and fans page out there!
So are you saying yet again, that Nigerian will accept this no sense, when will it ever stop if not confronted and call a spade a spade.
So what do you expect him to say exactly? That he should order people to go on the street to protest and got killed like endsars ? Are you that stupid ?
Go carry gun now if you don't want to accept defeat.
This Obidients will be read riot act very soon. Una dey craze?

Even though your replied was a little bit crazy & funny, but truth be told, u're right by answered him with "Yes Daddy" 🙂😀😃😄😁😆😅🤣👍👍👍👏👏👏🤝🤝🤝.
Did you understand what professor Soyinka is saying?, if you are bold enough you go for an interview, and talk about the politicians evildoers and see where you will land. it is easier said than done..
Wole Soyinka is fed up of the Nigerian state. He has spent his whole life battling the evils of Nigeria and has been in jail and exile for it.
The same age old evils happened again in this election and he knows nothing will change for the better if everyone keeps pretending any of this is acceptable.
I don't blame him for keeping his distance. This fight to save Nigeria is for another generation. Wole Soyinka has paid his dues.
Ebo po
I don't know why prof is distancing him self from this scam selection.
But decoding somethings he said. He referred to tinubu as a fascist. And also called out FFK
By fascists, he was referring to political supporters of Labour Party, PDP and APC who don't want to hear anything but all that favours them!
Please use your dictionary to understand better what fascism means!
@@jimifash , I believe U know exactly who the real fascists are. They abound mainly in apc and pdp.

With all the clever answers, he has no problem with Tinubu's funny cdeclaration as President. Thank you for coming out of your hidden hole.
We are not talking about GEJ.
I know the lawyer prof is talking about, his name begins with F and he loves food and ahoof a lot.
Why is that your only problem with this interview?
He said he was lucky enough not to be around to take part in this election cycle. He was appealed to, to accept an opportunity to teach in Abu Dhabi and he took it just so he can avoid people like you and their all-or-nothing opinions!
You're one of the fascists he's referring to!
"Seasoned politicians" says a lot for those who understand. I love his emphasis.
Prof sounds like one of the disguising problems of Nigeria
You're one of the fascists he's referring to.
You only want him to say things you want to hear.
