When a man of integrity speaks, you see real substance from his pure and well refined mind. I wished he was interested in politics. But if he did that, his real area of Divine Assignment would have suffered grossly. I still have his indictment of the PDP. He called them thieves; and if they were not Ibori would not have been at the PDP PRIMARIES. Good Luck Jonathan unknowingly confirmed what Soyinka was angry about! Mr Jonathan said publicly that he created 100 millionaires! How did he create 100 millionaires? He did so by sharing the money in the Nigerian Treasury. What a shame! That is what Tnubu and and Atiku Abubaka want to perpetuate. The Youths rose up to take back their country.
Mr Yakubu of the INEC SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN DETENTION, awaiting protection. But for the impunity which is the cankerworm which has eaten up the fabrics of Nigeria! Disgusting!!!

It is amazing what gets done in the back scenes before the break of day. People just sit watch an interview and begin to cast aspersions. Go through all this and learn the blend of consistency and openness. Those who believe in the nowness of noise making should sometimes hesitate so they can find the wisdom in thinking and silence

Wole Soyinka is fed up of the Nigerian state. He has spent his whole life battling the evils of Nigeria and has been in jail and exile for it.
The same age old evils happened again in this election and he knows nothing will change for the better if everyone keeps pretending any of this is acceptable.
I don't blame him for keeping his distance. This fight to save Nigeria is for another generation. Wole Soyinka has paid his dues.
