I am so late to this (life just too crazy rn), but yes. I love and adore Ateez (they've gotten up there with Seventeen for me) and I'm soooo happy to see you wanting to know more about them!
Ateez MV lore is also crazy wild. Tyrannical governments, two (or maybe more) dimensions they travel back and forth through, pirates searching for their individual treasures, etc. It all ties together, but it can be confusing haha!
For this album/MV, the story is coming to a peak. Over the last two albums in The World series ("Movement", which had Guerrilla, and "Outlaw", which had Bouncy) Ateez has been in the Strictland dimension. Started the rebellion in Guerrilla, was in hiding as outlaws in Bouncy, and is now sending the massive call for willful rebellion to "get up" here in Crazy Form.

I’ve been waiting for you to react to this!!!!! The song is an absolute bop. The choreo is so fun and suits them so well, lol lots of hip thrusts and twerking (even though they told atiny that wasn’t happening). Lolol They are an amazing group, and I co-sign with the person above who wants an Ateez week ❤
The singer at 3:24 (you mentioned the vocal pattern for “my ego in this show”) is Yunho.
The singer at 5:02 is Jongho, the vocal master maknae… he is chefs kiss. Seriously his solo song on this album is stunning.
Funny you mention one piece as they def reference one piece in their debut song Pirate King (they do Luffy’s Gear Second position with the low squat and fist into the ground). Which low key made me love them even more as I’m an avid One Piece fan for almost 18 years now.
If you like the swag of this song I think you should do an album review for what they just released. It is really good and has a lot of that energy throughout, but also they’ve got some unit songs on it that genuinely surprised me, in a good way.

Crazy Form MV as reference since you asked for help on the names:
Seonghwa(pronounced Song wha) The oldest- he's the statue of liberty (outfit n concept) in Crazy Form(crown of throns n sash outfit + dark hair, corset outfit) he's a vocalist & 2 visual, insane performer and kinda like a mom (if you see atings calling him Mother, its an inside joke😭) to the group, he's also a lowkey rapper & a part of the demon line (you'll see why). He was paired with San as fighters/protectors/performers for the MV (the lore is confusion lol😭)
Hongjoong (pronounced Hong Joon)- the Captain, he's the one running from the cops and has brown hair in Crazy form, he's an amazing rapper (giggles before or in his raps, nasel tone rapper) n a lowkey vocalist. Ateez & Atiny don't call him Leader. He writes, produces for Ateez and leads the group. (Short and Intense lol👌🏾).
Yunho (you know)- Main Dancer -love his movements- the gray haired one in the room tinkering away with the beanie on (he was paired with wooyoung for this mv), Performer and Vocalist (very stable even when doing choreo like wtf)- he's a great dancer, always teaching the members and helping them with choreo decisions (he's our big puppy and the tallest at 6'1).
Yeosang (yoh sang)- (fluffy green hair and doing the taki taki dance part, he was also paried with hongjoong for the mv as troublemakers) hes also a stunning Visual, but a unique- Deep and soothing- Vocalist & Performer (stares into your soul like u noticed and get some of the hardest choreos, lifting members, dropping to the floor with 1 hand), likes to be called a doberman lol.
Mingi (min gee)- Rapper ( doing the rap with the deep voice, in the dodge challenger before he crashes and drinks milk in the bar, he's also paired with Jongho - but has blond parts/highlights/fluffs in his hair) Writes with Hongjoong and an absolutely dirty Performer ugh🤪but he's pretty introverted and sweet.
San- (paired with Seonghwa, white shirt, red hair and grey pants for crazy form- starts the song)He's an Insane Vocalist, Dancer, Performer and Part of the Demon Line (you'll see what we mean). His name also means Mountain.
Woo young (pronounced oo young)- (does the body body, twerk dance on your screen, cute eye mole (dot lol) and is known for his cackle of a laugh- i love it tho) Dancer, Performer, Vocalist, always with San (choreos too, you will see). Rebellious but loyal🤭He has a softer vocal, very light but can be powerful. If you like more softer songs, then you'll love his vocals on their softer songs possibly.
Jongho- the best 4th Gen Vocalist (I said what i said), beautiful Performer (ps, he's had limited parts in crazy form due to an injury, he was paired with mingi, in suit with the gun scene) and he's the youngest (he's also the one belting out vocals) and is our haribo gummy bear☺ hes a powerhouse; fierce dancer, bold stage presence n vocals.
I'm convinced they chose lyrics that sound like "puta" on purpose. Especially since the Latin vibes are strong on this album.
Absolutely ATEEZ week. You missed Bouncy earlier this year, and maybe Halazia as well (I can't check your reaction list just now), but both were bangers with crazy dances. Also, the Crazy Form dance practice is out now, too, and I would love to see your reaction!

YES!!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought of Wanted lmao, they reference Wanted in Bouncy as well with the travelling bullet. I would love it if you would do a week of Ateez, but longer lol, starting from their debut songs, Pirate King and Treasure and work your way through, but that's just me being greedy. The dance practice has dropped, but it's in a gym with poor acoustics. Some peeps have posted mirrors with the sound improved and it more zoomed in on the dance, so you may want to pick one of those.
