I’ve been thinking about getting this cooler to use for day trips and road trips with the family. Maybe hold a spare bag of ice. My other coolers are 45 and 55 quarts and I could use something a little smaller.
It would be so much simpler if Yeti model numbers equal volume but they don't if you are carrying one inside a car the Roadie 24 is great and light but if carrying in a tray or tub the lockdown features of the 35 would be the way to go regards Mike
@@kisbushcraftdownunder I saw another video where a guy was comparing what he puts in his Roadie 24 vs what he can put in his 35. He was using it for family day trips and the amount of extra drinks or ice that can be added in a 35 is pretty good. For what he put in the 24 he had barely any ice but with the 35 he was able to add a couple of drinks and a lot more ice. This would be used for a family with kids so would need some room and it’d get to its destination in the back of a pickup. The lack of a drain plug on the 24 is a big turn off.
@@RustyShackleford-gl1vi I have both about five litres different for us a kilo of party ice takes up two litres volume the roadie 24 has the advantage on tall bottles and milk cartons. the lack of factory lock brackets is a big shortfall
The 35 is great for my wife and I as a personal use cooler. If more people are going to be dipping in then this cooler is too small. Go up to a 45 or larger.
Block ice will give you a lot more room than party ice 🧊I have some big coolers one 80 quarts but like most things in life the bigger it is the less you use it regards Mike
