I wanted everyone to know that I was taught never to put anything on top of the Bible and those aren’t Bibles. Can I just say that My Mom passed 31 years ago. She always taught me to never sit anything on top of a Bible because she felt it was disrespectful to God. When I saw the heart on top of the Bible that’s where My Mind went lol It’s funny how what you are taught as a child follows throughout your life. Oh how I Miss Her. I was 21 when she passed and no matter how old we get, we always need our Mom! 🥰♥️
I was taught the same thing and still to this day forbid anyone to lay anything on my Bible

The only thing I allow to sit on my Bible is my glasses.

What a beautiful tribute to your mom, Wendy! I also have small trinkets of lost loved ones in my home and enjoy the subtle nods to them (such as your creation) that others may not notice, but give me joy every time I pass them.

I love your Mom's memory vase with her own thoughts and words so sweet, I also loved all you other crafts, your picture of Jesus and Mary was so clever my scripture would be John 17 :3 "this means everlasting life, their comig to know you, the only true God, and the one you sent forth, Christ Jesus. I really love the craft with Jesus and Mary. You ask for ideas to put on the bottom, I would leave it alone. It looks so good, and it doesn’t look plain. My vote is to leave it alone.
I also have some recipes that my mom wrote, and I never considered displaying them. And she was the secretary at the church before I was born and she took the minutes and their business meetings. Fifty years later I was attending that church and one of the ladies made me copies of what she had written. It is so precious to me.

I lost my mum 10 years ago I’m still heart sore, I have some writings of hers and your idea to have them in our home has made me thankful I’m a fan of your channel. I loved all your crafts and I’m going to have to get me the prints of Our Lady and Jesus they are so peaceful and beautiful to look at🤍My daughter Kenzie found this quote after we lost mum and we added it to her order of service at her funeral and I think it is so true😔 “It has been said, 'time heals all wounds.' I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.”

Time heals all is just a phrase that I, too, think is crap. What time does do is allows us the opportunity to learn to live without them, which I feel is the hardest part of loss. 🙏

Beautiful projects! My favorite was the can with your mom's handwriting. Gives me some ideas for my mom and grandmother. I miss them both terribly. Oh they're all so great! I really enjoyed seeing your mother when I first saw you on y tube during covid when she was on & she was walking accross the room in the kitchen while you were working on the crafts. I really enjoyed that memory of her I wanted to share that with you I lost my mother in 2018 & I think about her everyday but because of our faith in God we count our blessings. Good Morning Wendy. I just Love all of your Creations! I so Love the Memory Floral Vase. Your Mother IS a Special Precious Woman who in turn had a Special Precious Daughter!!! For my kids, I plan to decoupage recipes in Mom's handwriting onto DT small, bamboo cutting boards as a memory of her. Food was very important to her, and she made sure to have a recipe for everything she made. Thank you for the idea of the memory can with flowers and the tag.

I have many of her writings and this is such a great idea! I absolutely love macaroni salad! One of my mom’s favorites was used her potato salad and meat loaf yum!! I love all of these. I am a hoarder, partly because I think that lots of this sort of stuff could be used for something else. I was really excited that someone else knew that those REALLY study cardboard things that come in boxes for packing some things could be used for something. I have always thought there should be some other use for them since they are so sturdy.

Your projects are always beautiful, but they also are inspiring and uplifting. You might find it interesting to know that the agamogram is based on the work of Jacob Agam--an Israeli artist. He always wanted to be an artist, but because he was from an orthodox Jewish family and his father was opposed to depictions of people or other actual items, believing them to be violations of the second Commandment, Agam specialiized in abstract art that was based on movement. His work is mesmerizing and colorful.
