1. Seventeen was robbed and should have at least one best dance performance
2. Seventeen killed their performance!!! I've watched 4 times and I'm still shook! They've reached a whole new level and amazingness!

And tbh I have seen so many positive comments about seventeen, and after their performance they were trending 1st along with jeonghan, hoshi and Wonwoo and maybe some other members, so I think he is happy about that; not the toxicity some immature fans spread.
This performance clearly shows the AGGRESSIVENESS and ANGRINESS of Seventeen. And as a carat I could never be more proud of them. This is basically them saying "THIS IS HOW YOU PERFORM!"

I’ve started stanning svt this quarantine, I can definitely say they were robbed of the best dance award. I stopped watching MAMA bec EXO was disrespected so much back then and I’m so sad that it’s happening to seventeen as well. No other groups caught my eye performing in MAMA except seventeen. THEY DONT DESERVE THIS DISRESPECT. Award shows are popularity shows these days, talent is different.

Seventeen deserved that award. 13 guys dance perfectly insyc with each other while still singing as well and they don't win the award, that's crazy. As an army, I'm actually kinda sad that, that win came to bts... Boy with luv wasn't even as hard as either dance from seventeen... I remember being a bit disappointed that our fandom thinks they should win everything solely because they love them.. they seem to forget what they're actually voting for.. I love bts with all my heart but I voted for seventeen.

As a Army i really love this performance, after watching Seventeen and Bts performance i'm really expecting that Seventeen will win the best performance but ended up, nah. I mean look how the intro kill us, Wonwoo eating that fvcking flower while singing? Okay i'm dead. Maybe bts had the trophy, but we all know that Seventeen is the real winner.
SVT totally owned the night. like for real. the performance made me went speechless & i had goosebumps all over my body. this is my first time ever seeing svt THIS AGGRESSIVE (all in my 6 years of stanning them) and carats know why. the overflowing energy & intensity of the performance is enough to prove why svt are the best performers ever. no one & nothing can beat them with that. SVT's performance definitely saved the show last night. no doubt. it's saddening that s.coups couldn't join his brothers this time but that's okay all we want is a speedy recovery of you leader 💞 Thanks svt for the extraordinary & amazing performance last night..MAMA didn't deserve that performance after being dirty af to my boys. ㅗ°`^`°ㅗ.

It would be way better for the Best Male Dance Performance category to be judged by PROFESSIONAL DANCERS and for them to decide the winner rather than letting the fans vote for the category. I have a feeling most fans don't know much about dance and they just choose their favorite artists on top of the quality of a dance.
Also I find it weird that for the past two years Seventeen won the BMDP award against BTS even when BTS had harder/more complex choreographies at the time, an example is DNA. But now that SVT had a harder and more complex choreography compared to the simplicity of BWL, BTS got the award instead.
I think there's no one strict criteria for best dance performance... i dont know how MAMA/judges decide.
they said that if people can easily dance the steps (make it a trend) it is a huge factor for this category.. but how about Don't wanna cry last 2017? It is definitely not an easy choreo. But i can say that Oh my! is partially easy. Also, many believed that the votes are important in this category , yes, of course, I agree..but then I realized that ever since bts has more fans than svt. But svt won for two consecutive years beating bts. I am starting to think if a criteria really exists or they just give it to whoever they like.

You clearly don't know anything about dance. Best Choreography IS NOT the same as hardest choreography. Best Choreography ultimately means which song fits best for the song and there were plenty of other songs who could have won it before Seventeen. At the end of the day, armys voted and BTS won. Carats should do that instead of whining and complaining.

@Peace&Respect Nominations exist because they show you who the top competitors are. It is an honour to even be nominated because it shows how close you are to winning. If there are groups who are close to each other in sales, votes are just a way to pick between them. This should be common sense. It's hilarious how you can't get over this ONE award even after all these months. You are all really a bunch of children.

I'll be honest, Boy With Luv's choreo can't win over Hit or fear, even choreographers and performers I know pick Hit. So basically the award will go to who is more popular and not based on who really deserved it, Seventeed should win the award! For the performance and screen time, I get bored on BTS performance, 40+ minutes was just to much, it is really long, MNET should know that BTS is still human, they get tired too! Even some idols screentime are affected because of that! Certain groups only perform 3 songs or even less, and that was really disappointing as a multistan. Well my point for this is award is award, those who really deserve the award, should win the award and not bases by the number of votes. And music awards is music awards, many artists will perform and not only one, give artists proper screentime and the right amount of time to perform in an event that only happen once a year. Every group deserve to win an award but it should be given to who deserve it(hope that makes sense😅).I am strongly disappointed to Mnet, Award should be given to those who deserve it.

For those who do not know, SCOUPS had an anxiety crisis and therefore could not be present. They decided that he had to rest and that is why he will be away from the scenes indefinitely that we hope is little.
On the other hand, really, there is no better group than SEVENTEEN. They are excellent dancers, singers, rappers but above all, they are excellent people. I was excited to send greetings to SCOUPS and although I think he did not see the transmission, when he finds out that he was mentioned he will feel happy and sure of the affection of the boys. I love this group, and I don't care if they win or don't win prizes, or if other people consider it the best, for me, in my heart they are the best and with such a great talent that they will grow taller and taller each time.
I was disappointed that they were not given more time in the awards, but then I thought that obviously, they could not let them act anymore, because then the differences between them and the group that won the best dance group would be more noticeable and that did not suit them, so That is understandable. Fear does not go on a donkey, as they say in Mexico.
Anyway, even if it was a short time, I really enjoyed them and loved them even more. SEVENTEEN ARE THE BEST!

퍼포먼스상을 투표수 100으로 평가해서 퍼포상을 못받았다는게 제일 얼탱이없고 속상함
수상기준 바뀌자마자 상 못받았다는건 실력이 안좋아서 못받은게 아니였다는게 더 빡침

이제와서 하는 말이긴 하는건데 저때 내가 아미였었는데 누가 봐도 솔직히 퍼포상은 세븐틴받아야 했었어… 진짜 독이랑 Hit도 그렇고 너무 잘했음 다인원을 구성해서 잘 짜고 그걸 해낸게 대단 해서 너무 이때 인기상이었음… 제발제발 덕질을 하면서 자기 팬덤이 받는게 더 중요한것도 알지만 공정하게 했음 좋겠음. 아 참고로 캐럿 된지 오늘 딱 100일이어서 이렇게 말해봄

I get it now... and ironically tho they're kinda underrated? They've been as long as BTS has in the industry, and are talented, but haven't heard much about them

2022 and still watching this, same emotion way back in 2019. As a fan of both groups (BTS,SVT) I think SVT deserve more the Best Performance award. Its saddening to see how disheartened they are.

Soonyoung & his hyung choreographers, Jihoon & his co-composers, Seungcheol (as a leader, who also is having his hiatus for his treatment) and the whole SVT boiis didn't work their asses up in order to make a perfect choreo and stage, for just 2 awards. THEY DESERVE MORE. MNET ARE BIASED AF.

I just hope all this is gonna be over soon, but looks like they keep on revealing investigation results, again and again. it cant be put into words how much they deserved the best dance choreo award,, even without having their leader the members carried their performance sooo beautifully
seventeen slapped mama with the hit performance. I was an army before and always thought bts was the best in the whole world but the world was wide and there were too many talented people outside.. after seeing seventeen performing right after the award was announced, i was a lil embarassed tbh, coz i realized how dumb it was to just vote for your faves only just becoz they were your favourite. We really should vote based on the talent instead of just blindly voting for our faves one. I FELL CRAZILY FOR SEVENTEEN RIGHT AFTER THEIR PERFORMANCE AND since that day i joined as a carat and currently i m a die hard ARMY/ENGENE/NCTZEN/CARAT.
I wish people actually processed the name of the award before voting and not just by default voting for their favorite group. Like I voted Bts AOTY but I still voted SVT best dance performance because damn that choreography is intense.
