Thank you, Og, for another relaxing video. Didn't put me to sleep, but kept me interested. I like checking out the variety of shops and stores on your various routes. I've only been to London once (I'm in the USA, west coast), so I enjoy watching walking and driving videos of London to see parts of the city that I missed and maybe where I'd like to go the next time I visit. Your videos certainly help.
I also enjoy YT's closed captions, trying to translate what you are saying. At 6:32 the cc translated 'pedestrians' to 'pests' -- I guess sometimes that might be a good analogy. :)

Just catching up on the latest content, I love to watch your drives round North London, I grew up there and its nice to see Green Lanes and the old Haringey Stadium, my Uncle worked there in the 60's and 70's. I left London over 30 years ago and watching your drives takes me back there. Keep up the good work Ogmios.

I don't know why I love your videos but I do. Maybe it's because I'm a North Londoner living abroad and missing the rain and cold. Also, the Ogmios voice makes it all seem nicer. All sounds so familiar... West Green Road, Green Lanes (used to be called Greek Lanes), Haringey Ladder. Love It. Thank you Ogmios. Oh, by the way, the Haringey Arena was a greyhound racing track. My Dad used to go there.
I watch your episodes with me mum, both really love all your content. Had some ideas from this one:
1. ASMR night driving - so you could find a motorway or somewhere hypnotic on the roads with the streetlights, then talk about your philosophies on the universe/life - could even be done in a rap format.
2. ASMR tour guide - you could find interesting spots around London and give people some insight on facts or even good places to eat/chill etc...

Enjoyable as always. I’d like to hear non-live Ogmios give thoughts on what live Ogmios has planned or has been up to. Maybe even hearing your shopping list would be relaxing? The only negative feedback I have is that the leaves on the windscreen made me feel less zen than leafless one would have. Looking forward to seeing this series develop

I find driving videos so relaxing, I like to chill and let someone else do the driving. One channel I follow, the dude goes on long drives ( lives in south america, near Chattanooga) when he travels to go file 'lawsuits'. He needs a better microphone, cos the engine of his truck is bit loud, I can only hear some of what he's ranting about when he stops at traffic lights. Nice country side, quite scenic. Got any long car journeys Ogmios, I'd be happy to tag along from the comfort of my cushion and I'm cool with comfortable silences, if you don't feel like talking...
If you can find a way to turn off the audio for the exterior cams so you don't get the mics picking up wind and a little less ambient noise from the car would probably make this a fair bit better in my opinion mate, any new vids from you is always a happy surprise though I hope you appreciate the constructive criticism :D

Hi Ogmios, I have a couple of technical tips for you-you could do with some sort of microphone headset that places the mic right in front of your mouth, this would mean you will be heard more clearly with less car noise, and consider placing the camera that is on you inside the car-attached to the windscreen-we want to see your lovely face better!- maybe shoot during the day so we can see the surroundings better-as for content you could tell us some stories about yourself, about what you got up to in you earlier years, you could comment more on your surroundings-comment more on the people around you-we all love to people watch and have thoughts on what we see, but you can turn those thoughts into words- I'm a big fan of your work-keep it coming (love the football films though I have no interest in football.

Previously we had loved your videos, not really interested in looking at your windscreen though, and felt the switching camera angles ruined the zen. The only bits we enjoyed were the ones that you used to do, from the front dash cam looking forward. Also, the purely factual commentary did not help us become any better zen drivers, you used to provide us with helpful advice that we have incorporated into our own driving; other than mentioning how you are careful not to block exits, there was precious little to help us in this video, and we didn’t go more than halfway through this one. Sorry mate, but it’s a “no” from us.
Yesterday after work I followed a similar route but I was on foot. It meant I could stop into all of the little shops - eg Harringay Local store, Yasar Hallim, Kofali, Hello Harringay. I didn't make it as far as the Arena but by then I already had everything I needed, so I walked back home.

This is separate from the Ogmios School of Zen Motoring series. I am still making those but it takes time to accumulate enough good clips. I am often asked to make relaxing/sleep content type videos so this is something along those lines. I am just trying to add more content to my CZcams channel and working out what kind of regular videos might work. With regards to this video, is it the camera angle pointing back towards the driver that you don't like?

@@Ogmioszen I dunno man, when I originally came across the old zen motoring videos I thought I’d struck gold! they felt so authentic and old school youtube. Then you started showing your face and I got put off instantly, not because of you personally, just because it ruined that authentic old school vibe and felt to me like you suddenly wanted the attention or the recognition for being the guy behind those videos… I didn’t come here for that, I came here for the original zen motoring videos (like most of your subscribers)!
