I have said this on another board I was surprised by Hen’s reaction I mean yes she fir example knew about Bobby and Athena before they announced it, but as someone who ships Buck with…someone else but doesn’t mind Tevan, Long before Buck and Tommy I kept picturing if he were to express it verbally ya know like when used self-declare himself a sex addict. He wouldn’t be believed taken seriously, or maybe have concerns with unintentionally offending Hen, Karen, or Josh if were to announce it without ‘proof’ that is. 😆

Hats off to the writers. It was an imaginative, effective and amusing way to handle Buck’s coming out without the laborious process of explaining it to everyone individually, especially in an episode where scenes had already had to be culled apparently

Buck is truly happy for the first time. I appreciate the sensitivity and natural approach to the evolution of Buck as a truly 'natural' man. Kudos to the entire cast of 911. I'm interested to see how their story line unfolds. Anticipating every episode.

I hope Bucks parents do not go negative on him or the relationship he is beginning with Tommy. They almost lost Buck before and I think they will lose Maddy also as she and Buck have a loving warm relationship. Its going to be fantastic to see the storyline unfold in the following episodes.

Remember, they no very little about this son and what they do know, or think they know is that he's a womanizer, so he can't be kissing men. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this scene. I've been telling people that THIS is the BEST coming out scene in all of TV history.

It seems everyone excited about Buck coming out that no one pointed out how uncool it was that Tommy didn’t wipe the soot off Buck’s face. They could have simply made that he tried to but Buck pulled him into the room too fast that he didn’t get everything. Here he just let Buck look like a fool.
It was a plot device ( albeit an exaggerated one ). Certainly did it’s job as the internet is buzzing about it.

I would be SO embarrassed if that happened to me and nobody said anything and I didn't realise til I looked in the mirror later or something. And also probably sad that I didn't get to like, pay attention to people's response to the coming out part? Like I know he was planning to come out at the wedding but like. It's like his coming out happened behind his back. He didn't know it was happening. I'm probably overthinking it I guess.
