there is so much sadness in this song. it breaks my heart every time i hear it. i have the same relationship with god, first discovering that god was real and then coming to understand god was a prisoner in his own cage and that his love could only be a lie created for ourselves . god can only offer ambivalence to his creation. a horrible truth that can never be truly reconciled.
