Nurturing a child is how human beings are built. I only say that because to not acknowledge the damage, the size of the wound, of not having these fundamental building stones of development it sets all of us up for CPTSD, acting out, poor decisions and shallow lives. I do agree once your little child self understands it was not their fault and we are adults it is then our responsibility to “find that in ourselves”. It’s important for me to remember that the trauma changed the way my brain worked and only via a spiritual path of nourishing myself do I have a chance at peace in this life. I do believe we all have a path to walk and a test on how well we navigate our lives regardless of handicaps. We are good people trying to get better ❤️🩹 work of a lifetime. I have been releasing the resentment because it only holds on to another thing that will cause issues. I agree that there should have been a nurturing parent(s). If there wasn’t, there is always a reason behind it. After having talked with my mother about life and hearing what she had to say, there are many old beliefs present that caused issues for her. I can understand and see the truth, for any person for that matter. That being one of my gifts has helped me to come to the understanding of the situation. Learning to let go and forgive helped even more. Either way, I can’t go back and change what happened. For what happened, it helped to shape me and my life now. Getting upset with anyone about what happened in my life is only causing harboring anger and resentment. Much of which I no longer entertain. Pile 3, thank you so much! This is exactly right on and I needed to hear all of it. I especially liked the advice for how to deal with the Devil and 9 of swords. I get the nine of swords in 95% of my readings and I have a brain disorder that has caused a lifelong sleep disorder, generalized anxiety, and I have PTSD, so I get this, and the subsequent self-medicating Devil card. Starting slow and understanding that I've already started is key. And understanding that it's possible that the experience I had before with the cravings and difficulty never going away for over a year, may not happen again or if it does, it's possible it won't be so hard to manage or noticeable. Just because I tried before and it was difficult and painful and the cravings never went away, doesn't mean I'll necessarily have the same experience again. And even if I do, it's worth a shot anyway. The advice my best friend gave me to start one day at a time reminds me of the advice to start slow here. It's good to keep in mind, that way I don't put too much pressure on myself. Pile 3, thank you so much! This is exactly right on and I needed to hear all of it. I especially liked the advice for how to deal with the Devil and 9 of swords. I get the nine of swords in 95% of my readings and I have a brain disorder that has caused a lifelong sleep disorder, generalized anxiety, and I have PTSD, so I get this, and the subsequent self-medicating Devil card. Starting slow and understanding that I've already started is key. And understanding that it's possible that the experience I had before with the cravings and difficulty never going away for over a year, may not happen again or if it does, it's possible it won't be so hard to manage or noticeable. Just because I tried before and it was difficult and painful and the cravings never went away, doesn't mean I'll necessarily have the same experience again. And even if I do, it's worth a shot anyway. The advice my best friend gave me to start one day at a time reminds me of the advice to start slow here. It's good to keep in mind, that way I don't put too much pressure on myself. I've worked hard, have learned to be very methodical from learning how to navigate school and work with my brain disorder, learning disabilities, and neurodivergence, as well as my chronic pain and illness.I've come so far in all areas of my life, and really, this is the last thing I would like to master and practice. I love these readings, so kind and the best vibe.
