Outside of the kids being slightly mischievous, I sincerely doubt they would go out of their way to hurt/scare you for no reason.

By far the best "animated" version of the Adams Family by a long shot. The style, using the original song theme song turned up a notch, and the designs were beautiful. Even Gomez's kinda odd pink outfit which "almost" makes me look more normal is still eccentric screaming and might've been a purposeful nod to the pink usage of the set of the live-action black and white show. Two "snaps" up, as it were. As someone who can trace their family history back to the name Addams (my grandmother [my mom's mother] had it for her last name before marrying my grandfather), one feels proud to somewhat be linked to such an iconic franchise, even if it is loosely. Wednesday, naturally, would be my favorite, followed by Gomez and Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma Frump-Addams, Pugsley, Lurch, and Cousin Itt.
I remember watching The Addams Family back in 1992 when I was a kid, it was funny and hilarious. I'm happy that it's still show on CZcams and Watch Cartoon online so why haven't they released the show onto DVD yet just like the original Addams Family cartoon from the 60's. Because it deserved a comeback after 28 years and would made me happy to watch the whole Addams Family episodes from the 90s.
This tune reminded me of my childhood in the late 90s and early 2000s. I remember watching these cartoons on the channel cartoon network after coming back to home from my kindergarten. Miss those days.
The moment where this video touches my inner child is when Gomez appears riding on his train. I just love how excited the kid gets when he sees him and hops aboard the caboose with Wednesday and Pugsley. My reaction as a kid would very much be the same. Plus I did love trains growing up, especially with horror added in the mix.
So many memories of this great cartoon, along with the film, and reruns of the original 60s show. This was the most fun since John Aston reprised his role as Gomez, but man this show got me in trouble with my parents. I loved trains, but getting my first electric train as a kid, I couldn't help but do it Gomez style.
this was always my favourite version of this series. of course this was the only one i grew up with, but after seeing the other versions, i preferred this one still, not just for nostalgic reasons, but mainly for how this one was done in general
I miss that old boomerang logo, I also remember seeing it from an episode of Dexter’s Laboratory from when I was in a restaurant in New York in July 2013.
i love the addams family, to those who don't know or fail to understand them the addamses might look as weird or downright creepy but they're quite harmless, they're a tightknit family and one of the best examples of a good functional family, they love and support each other and in a tough spot an addams will always stick out for an addams or a close friend
My mom banned me from watching the show as a child because of its weirdness. So, what I would do is record the episode and wait for her to go to work at night so I can show it when she's gone.🤣🤣
This show was literally my childhood, and as another Halloween passes by, Another Year we're here like always. Happy Halloween! Been years that I've been listening to this! Hope you enjoy it too the fullest~ 🎃🎃🎃

This year 2016 marks the 25th anniversary of Paramount Picture's THE ADDAMS FAMILY (1991) and I wonder if this cartoon series will be available soon to come on DVD as a complete series.
Watched this as a kid and totally forgot about it. Just starting watching the Netflix series and the whole time I kept wondering why the characters all felt so familiar.
This brings back so many memories of Saturday mornings in the 90s. Back when this aired on ABC back in 1992. The days when Cartoons ruled the TVs from 730 till 1130. The toy commercials and cereal ads and the Anti drug PSA commercials and bumpers for the next cartoons.
No DVD release, no digital release, it's not airing airing anywhere on cable or streaming, CZcams won't let anyone upload it, why are they withholding this piece of art from the world?

Ah, so many memories! I remember being the first to wake up every morning, turning the TV on Cartoon Network, and this would come on.
+Vlad Sicoe omg same i could cry,i miss those times :'(
When I was a kid I thought it was pretty scary
Vlad Sicoe when I was a kid I loved The Addams Family cartoon from the 90's because i think its the counterpart to the 60's sitcom during the awake to the successful The Addams Family movie with Christina Ricci
Vlad Sicoe I watch this show in my childhood in Cartoon Network
Ah those days 😢❤❤
how many of you are here after watching Wednesday series on Netflix?
me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
watching wednesday reminded me of this masterpiece.
They're creepy and they're kooky,
Mysterious and spooky,
They're all together ooky,
The Addams Family.
Their house is a museum
Where people come to see 'em
They really are a scream
The Addams Family.
(Neat)
(Sweet)
(Petite)
So get a witches shawl on
A broomstick you can crawl on
We're gonna pay a call on
The Addams Family.
WazihaNSonchita memories
As strange as it may sound...
They're properly the most balanced and most functional family of all times.
So many years later and this is still my favourite version of the theme song.
you Gotta snap your fingers to this. ..
*snap snap*
What a nice quarantine recommendation.
A quarantine is meant to be 40 days, not years.
I love how the neighbors kid absolutely adored them lol
I miss my childhood
Even I remember it was either unorthodox or dark humour. But with positive empathy. Also I love it 😊👍.
Me too.
@@jimmy200570 me three
The moment where this video touches my inner child is when Gomez appears riding on his train.
Can we take a moment to take in how FLAWLESS this intro was?
this was always my favourite version of this series. of course this was the only one i grew up with, but after seeing the other versions, i preferred this one still, not just for nostalgic reasons, but mainly for how this one was done in general
Same here
How can you be scared of the Addams family? They're adorable!
Thanks! for sharing this. Such an unexplainable nostalgic feeling listening to it after years.
I miss that old boomerang logo, I also remember seeing it from an episode of Dexter’s Laboratory from when I was in a restaurant in New York in July 2013.

@@patjareetakoon9193 what?, I wasn't jumping
Are you’re kidding that was scary!
i love the addams family, to those who don't know or fail to understand them the addamses might look as weird or downright creepy but they're quite harmless, they're a tightknit family and one of the best examples of a good functional family, they love and support each other and in a tough spot an addams will always stick out for an addams or a close friend
Hanna and Barbera cartoons, huh? This cartoon looks similar to Tim Burton, I like it.
Hanna Barbera did a lot of different great cartoon shows. They are my childhood heroes for bringing joy and happiness in my rainy days
Interesting.
Kunio89ro word!
jjjjh
The Addams family and tim burton are a match made in heaven I think
My mom banned me from watching the show as a child because of its weirdness. So, what I would do is record the episode and wait for her to go to work at night so I can show it when she's gone.🤣🤣
I loved this show!!
Me too
I really appreciate the fact that they designed most of the models to look like the comic characters.
and this is how I learned about Tocatta and Fugue in D minor by Bach.
I miss being a kid😞 where are the old cartoons now? Want it back
I know how you feel
This show was literally my childhood, and as another Halloween passes by, Another Year we're here like always. Happy Halloween! Been years that I've been listening to this! Hope you enjoy it too the fullest~ 🎃🎃🎃
Concordo!
🎃🙌
Wednesday series is a good adaption of The Addams Family.. Childhood Nostalgic ❣️☺️
that was one of my fave cartoons.....♥♥
Man, this was an awesome adaptation :) Had a great cast too; Rip Taylor, Carol Channing, Debi Derryberry, Rob Paulsen, Edie McClurg, Richard "Dick" Beals, and John Astin reprising his role as Gomez Addams :D
Jim Cummings too. He was Lurch.
I recall their 1973 cartoon of which was inspired by Scooby Doo meets the Addams Family.this one above is more true to the original TV show's opening.
I remember that episode. I think thats the one they went looking for Wednesday.
I never liked this show and theme song when it showed on cartoon network. But after watching it after twenty years, I realise how beautiful were those days.
Me neither
I used to watch it on Cartoon Network about TWENTY YEARS AGO!!! :)
OMG! Time's running so fast ;)
+Kinga e_M Same here haha :D
+Michel Pas Take FIVE 😉✋
Kinga e_M *Highfive* Where are you from btw ^^
This show is dementedly hilarious
Anyone here in 2023 to get a flashback of their childhood cartoon?
used to love this as a kid, and when a family member send me the intro song it made me cry cus i felt like someone was paying attention to me to what i liked
I wish this was on HBO Max...
Sadly I missed this
@Shin Shaman it's so sad you wasted your two brain cells just to type this comment the only pathetic person here is you
I can listen to this all day.
True
Used to watch this on Saturday mornings! The episode that I remembered the most was called " The Puttergiest"
After watching Wednesday i just realized this is where they got the "snaptwice" riddle from
bruh thats the signarure lol
90s kid gonna remember this🖤🤟🏻
Im a student so that means im broke as FUCK! But i swear to god i would give my whole savings to bring me back to those times
Can relate! 😭
Yeah, remember when cartoons were good?
I remember watching this when I was younger in the morning when I didn't go to school because I was sick. Luckily, I was sick a lot :D
This was how I was introduced to the Addams Family franchise.
I remember this intro since childhood made enter the addams family series
Same here.
Yes Saturdays mornings
Wednesday brought me here... the nostalgia
I remember watching this in Cartoon network growing up. Times were better off those days. I can just sit, watch, laugh and then eat and go to sleep.
I didn’t appreciate this enough as a kid but animation is absolutely gorgeous. You can almost see the each individual frame and how well it’s put together. Just take a closer look at thing in the beginning and you’ll see what I mean
Damn i miss this. I was born 1993 and now its 2022 and its gone on TV. 😞
It's on HBO
i love how they integrated the intro from Bach's Dracula Theme into this version of the Addams Theme, it totally suites the song.
back when cartoons were actually cartoons.
hats off you
+bankotsu82 And cartoons today aren't? how so? :P
This year 2016 marks the 25th anniversary of Paramount Picture's THE ADDAMS FAMILY (1991) and I wonder if this cartoon series will be available soon to come on DVD as a complete series.
Wednesday is so different here😭
"Granny's Psychic Hotline!"
I'll always have a fondness for this cartoon!
I simply love how fluid the opening is.
Oh happy memories. i used to love this show. :)
An awesome show in the 1990s, it got right the combo of funny and freaky from the comics, the sitcom and the 1991 film!
No DVD release, no digital release, it's not airing airing anywhere on cable or streaming, CZcams won't let anyone upload it, why are they withholding this piece of art from the world?
Nobody:
CZcams: Let's recommend this 10 years later
Lol same
I missed this show. Used to get scared because of its spooky theme but still a good family show. Morticia's my favourite character cuz she's pretty lol
The amount of feels after watching this 😭😭😭😭
Goosebumps all over!! 🥰
Horror Comedy 😂😂😂
I remembered watching this when I was little. I totally forgot about this show and the theme song. It has been like 14 or 15 years since I watched this show and listened to the theme song. One of the best Cartoon series in TV history :)
My childhood came in front of my eyes ❤️
The true Addams family man, How time flies. Always nice to relive this iconic theme on Halloween. 🎃🙌
this is how i knew them. this always appeared on Cartoon Network and the pretty new at the time (now kind of dead) Boomerang. actually, a lot of shows i watched either appeared on either shows. now look at CN And "Boomerang", not that many older shows from beyond the 2000's. so sad~
Here after watching The Addams family 2019 trailer?😉
Ii makes me cry today.. It took me 8 yr to find this cartoon. I used to watch it when I came to home from school in 2001,when I was in 1 st standard. I can't express that how my memories become fresh when I watched it today. I can feel every moment that I had when I watched this cartoons on my TV in school uniform. thanks a lot
2020 anyone? Good old memories... nostalgic 😊
