I hate heavy loads too. Who wants to be the slow turd going up the hill. Even with my Pete 379 with a cat still limps with beer and chicken lol

I like your videos because it’s all in order as things happen. When you picked up the beer trailer it was so heavy the mud flap was touching the ground. Did I miss something or did the tractor automatically fill the air bags?
Yes usually when the weight presses down it inflates it to the right level and levels it all out. I appreciate it very much
So Prime is guaranteeing paying for the showers their drivers get at Love's truck stops. I wonder what the discount they negotiated for that is.
I’m not sure but it’s big discount on fuel and everything free showers and coffee
I just passed all 5 tests this morning for my CDL Permit in Texas. I noticed that no one couples and uncouples according to the manual lol. I made sure I focused on those questions and I was right, there were a lot of questions pertaining to coupling. But I did see how your coupling/uncoupling was pretty fast. Does Prime ever call you about things they see in your videos that they feel are incorrect?
BTW, when I get my permit card in the mail I will apply to Prime Inc.
Awesome sir congratulations 🎉🍾 I bet that felt so good I know it did for me when I passed everything. Did I do a bad job coupling or uncoupling? I don’t think so when you get everything down it’s like like walking or eating you get really good at it 🤷♂️ on the other note Prime doesn’t really call you about videos unless you’re doing something really unsafe or recording on your head which is no longer allowed. Awesome if you’d like you can put me down as a reference on your application. Thanks 🙏
@@RunningOTR my apologies, I didn't mean to imply that coupling/uncoupling was wrong. Everyone that I had watched doesn't do it the same. But for the test I had to remember to connect the emergency and service lines, then add air to the system, lock the trailer brakes and then connect the power, then back up to lock the fifth wheel. I did learn a lot though from your video which is why I was watching it in the first place so thanks for that.

I like picking up at Hershey. They give you chocolate bars. Especially the whse in Hershey, Pa they gave me seven bars of chocolate.

Yes after they offloaded I saw someone hit something and the cross members were changed and floor was welded inside
Good video. Did Prime supply you with the load locks, or do you have to buy your load locks? The older ones you mentioned were not working that good.
Thank you very much 😀 Honestly you can buy them or find them in trailers that other drivers leave them in. I bought 2 brand new ones when I was brand new but I found like 10 after I bought them and then I regret it because most of them were in an amazing condition.
@@RunningOTR When I worked at Prime company side, and I had a drop and hook load, I would always drop my empty but search empty trailers to "BORROW" load locks to make sure I always ran with a full rack. 😛
If you have to buy them even if you are company. That being said, you learn quickly to ALWAYS check empty trailers in distribution centers for load locks. Especially if you are doing a drop and hook for pickup and delivery.

Probably answered it before.. but what allows you to bypass a weigh station while others have to hit it?
It’s usually a bypass system a company needs to meet a certain criteria as far as safety score clean inspections etc no loads over weight before not many failed dot inspections plus if the driver checks out weight looks good while rolling if anything looks out of ordinary and the company has bad csa score they would pull you in for a ride thru so they can check it out and see if they want to give you a citation put you on a scale do a dot inspection etc

@@stevo6891 I mean it’s all preference whatever you may like reefer less work tanker more work loading unloading etc vs just bumping a door. I would highly recommend prime you can also use me as a reference on your application if you’d like. 😀

I hear that here and there and people said it’s in the talks and it’s being worked on but I really hope we don’t because I don’t think I will want to work here with driver facing cameras honestly it feel like they will be spying 🕵️♂️ on us 🤷♂️
