Tae has created a down time album, you can just sit, chill out and listen to his beautiful voice and music. Seeing his beautiful face and smile as well though, is a million dollar bonus. This man is truly a music lover, he bleeds music. He bravely broke away from the norm, didn’t go the popular way and gave us a wonderful gift that we can enjoy over and over again.
THIS IS WHY HE CALLED IT LAYOVER. HE TAKE A MINUTE BEFORE GOING TO THE END.

Tae did say that is why he named the album Layover because it's a pause on the way to a destination. Time to sit and relax and unwind.
With the video itself, it did feel like a simulation or something created out of his imagination. Saw that picture too with just Tae in it. Further proved, that those people were really not there. It made me emotional to think in case this relates to what Tae feels at times. The feeling of loneliness despite having a lot of people around him. There's a lot of theories already, would like to see what other ARMYs think of this.
The fact that there are six other people with him may indicate that he is missing performing with his band of brothers, feeling lost and alone, creating ways to be with them.
V's creative artistry touches are evident in this video. He does things differently, he puts out music that he loves doing as opposed to KPOP mainstream music. He stays true to himself, & I give him much respect and admiration for being genuine. The cinematograpy is beautiful, this was also filmed in Spain. His voice is smooth, sexy & soulful, & what can I say about his visuals, the guy is damn handsome😍Looking forward to the rest of his songs & the MV's. Tae you are one of a kind, & we love you💜💜

I just watched Bookish Theories video on Slow Dancing. So much more to the MV story then people realize and connection to HYYH.
Yes Shiki this MV has differents levels of interpretations, in the first you can see a beautiful moment when the most important is the happiness of living, friendship, love, enjoy the moment and the small pleasures of life with a little nostalgia because this moments will only remain in our memories, and one second in which you perceive strange things to finally understand that perhaps that beautiful world doesn’t exist and is just a virtual recreation made by someone who feels alone.A masterpiece of song and MV created by Taehyung and his extraordinary team formed by very creative and original people. All album is amazing but I recommended two very beautiful songs Blue and especially For Us, thanks Shiki for always support all members of BTS and in this moment my talented bias.💜

Shiki, so true - I stream every day. I have played JK's Dreamers every day since it came out (both the MV and the live). It would be impossible to do everything (lol) but I do all members (couple of each every day), have been doing so for years and will continue to do so. Love them all so much and it is the only way we can show our love and support.

This album is faaaaaaaaar away from noisy and estimated KPOP. I am happy for him as he gave his kind of music. The whole album is conceptual journey of music ,lyrics and ur imaginary visualisation. I knew instrumentation in his song will be splendid and he didnt disappoint me. He is true artist.

All of his MV’s for his album were filmed in Spain, and yes this is Rocky. Pics of Yeontan are everywhere on road and in clouds, catching fish with butterfly net - such a cool video💜💜

the narrative is like Tae imagining an ideal world where he can just hang out and slow dance with his 'girl' (ARMY?); and also sail into the sunset and watch the aurora with his members (he specifically mentioned this dream to immediately go off together to the next Bon Voyage in the nordic regions to watch the aurora immediately after all completed their enlistment); as well as, most importantly, immortalize his yeontan all over this album.
