This man has all of the money in the world. Why would he bring up this pain and put his family through this heartache? It's about his honor. He could care less about money. Clear his name. Give him the justice he deserves.

His body languages and the way he talks says it all. He really is just trying to find some peace. People that are saying he should move on and not waste any money anymore don’t have the power to emphatize and imagine how it is to be completely shattered and have your reputation destroyed in front of millions of people, knowing it’s all based on lies. It’s something you can’t put up with simply by just moving on. I hope he wins and gets the peace he always wanted. I can see he is very tired and overwhelmed.
I completely understand why Johnny has filed defamation charges against her. He had to for the sake of truth, nothing but truth which he values highly. The fact that Amber lied about him is major and there was no way he could move on without clearing this up. His family, his children and friends, his career and all the people he has given advice to over the years trust him and believe in him. He is a decent human being. I have never known of a person like him who has been through violence growing up and has turned out to be the kindness most giving and generous person ever. Amber Heard appears to have a serious personality disorder or their is some other psychological problem going on with her.

Ricky Gervais has spoken of the first time he went to visit David Bowie in his apartment. The concierge asked him if he was there to visit 'Mr Jones', which is his real surname. I thought it was a great insight into someone as mega famous as Bowie keeping things real and trying to stay grounded.

There's another anecdote in that the dress designer Christian Lacroix can no longer use his name as he went bust and lost it.
It brought memories of Norma Jeane who was staring at herself at the mirror for an inordinate amount of time and when asked what she was doing said, "I am staring at "her."

The problem is, she's an even worse actress than she is a person, LMAO. You can just see the exaggerated expressions on her face while munching on snacks in the previous trials. Those are not genuine expressions ANYBODY other than an actor has.

He's very genuine. That's rare for anyone these days. I've always felt that he's an old soul. He'll win this case. No doubt in my mind.
Even if nobody wins and no money changes hands, Johnny comes off far more legitimate, decent and a very kind human being. The fact that Amber dropped a deuce on his side of the bed, tells me that she has some very major psychological problems.
I believe he is genuinely a good person. And despite his incredible popularity, he never once let that fame go to his head and didn't become one of those stuck-up celebrities that have a bad rep. He seems like the kind of guy who would never be annoyed by you wanting to talk to him or asking for his autograph. Amber was lucky to have him in her life, and she threw it all away.

In his case the fame part was his own choice. There are a million other jobs out there that don't require 'the burden of fame'. Fame and fortune also gives you a lot of freedom and privileges so I understand the temptation. Paparazzi's should be restricted though in what they are allowed to do to get their pics.
Guilty people don't go on the stand and lay out all their faults.

I think from hearing JD speak that he is beyond brilliant. What actor attempts to emotionally and psychologically affect his audience with his approach to his character. Who thinks that way? Certainly not your average actor or person. And yet he is just a regular guy underneath. An amazing human being and I now understand why he’s been so successful. My hat off to you Johnny out of respect for who you are.

After watching this trial for a while, I believe he is innocent. Why would he put himself out there like this, talk about such personal things, if he wasn't innocent. He is a great actor, but I don't believe he is acting at ALL in this trial. He is telling the truth. His accounts of his life are extremely well-spoken. There is nothing in his demeanor that says "liar". What a shame she's trying to pull him down. I'm 100% for women's rights, but something is WAY OFF on this one. Women who use the battery platform to gain something, building a case against innocent people, are wicked, and give all of us women a bad name.

Watching this court case and seeing Johnny in a place where he feels clearly broken is heartbreaking. You can see through people and can normally tell when someone isn’t being genuine and with him it’s not a façade or fake, it’s just him, Johnny, not an actor, acting for a camera. He is truly a kind man, he does so much for others when it comes to helping those in need. He’s humble, caring and loving! I really love him just as a person not the actor that the media puts into the world, but for all the things he does for others when he thinks no one is watching! I hope one day I get to just shake his hand and say “Thank You”! I don’t want an autograph or a picture but to just sit and talk and have a conversation with him as himself not what he feels he’s forced to be!

Hearing his testimony regarding fame and how overwhelming it could be is why, when I have encountered famous people I tend not to go up to them or even treat them differently then anyone else. I just would rather not bother and just let ‘em be.🤷🏽♂️

That's sad. To travel to different places and have to stay in a hotel the whole time because it keeps down the commotion and chaos. And to hear Depp say he can play a character that may spit out 100 words per minute, yet he as himself, cannot. I totally understand him, being a shy person myself. It's amazing how he has been able to break out of his shyness shell and create memorable and animated characters over the course of his career. You would never have known he was such a shy person. You can tell with him speaking at this trial, and it being filmed/streamed, he really struggles with speaking in public settings.

in Oprah's 2004 interview with johnny (amongst many other interviews), he mentioned time and again how he hated the idea of being a 'product' or a commodity. it's amazing to me to see how he hasn't changed a single bit, despite all the trauma amber has put him through. I truly hope he gets to clear his name.

I remember when 21 Jump St first came out. What a wonderful television series that was. My son and his friends would gather round the television and what it. In those days there were only two channels available to the residents of Wagga Wagga so we were very fortunate that it aired in the region. If you had of told me then that 35 years down the track I would be watching that handsome young actor's defamation testimony ON MY PHONE while I was sitting on the toilet, I would have thought you were mad! It's amazing how time flies.

I have enjoyed listening to him and how fame has affected his life. He sounds very protective of his kids and wants his character to remain intact for them. He fought to overcome all horrific obstacles in his life and to be the best dad he could be. He deserves to keep his reputation and the goodness of his soul. I don’t know how he’s dealt with the paparazzi etc… I couldn’t imagine not having the ability to go to the store or out in public, without someone bothering you. That has to be awful; especially when trying to protect your babies. It’s a job folks. We all have different lines of work. It’s just a job. He’s human… he’s Johnny.
Acting is a job, but Hollywood is something else. And nobody has to be a Hollywood actor. You know what you're getting into when you sign up. Fame is messed up and unnatural, so it's inevitable that messed up things will go along with it (e.g. paparazzi).
It took me over 35 years to come to terms with the reality that money doesn't make you happy. Not saying that Johnny isn't happy because he's rich, just saying there is much more at a human level that needs satisfying

Johnny has definitely suffered trauma. Pausing proves he doesn't know what to say and what not to say from fear of words being twisted later. I would doubt Johnny ever marries again. Trust is completely gone after such an over whelming time with a Narcissist.

I'm VERY proud of my niece who did ALL of the music for Pirates of the Caribbean!! She WAS a small town girl who made it BIG with her hard work & determination. I remember her speaking VERY fondly about working with Johnny Depp & what a really amazing guy he is🤗 She's still living her best life in LA moving from small town in Connecticut. Her husband also works in the music industry, that's how they met. She was a young intern working with Hans Zimmer & I adore her & am so VERY proud of my niece & ALL she's achieved!! I LOVE YOU & am SO proud!!! I MISS you MORE than YOU will ever KNOW...🤗😇😗

Ive seen clips of him doing amazing things in his spare time so have felt he's a nice guy as well but have also been mindful that nobody knows an actor, just what we're allowed to see.
Seeing him in court, all I see is a genuine, honest, humble man who is completely vulnerable.

It's endearing that his bodyguards have been with him so long he can't remember when they joined his family. That to me shows he's a good person. If he were abusive, he'd have a much higher turn over with employees.

This is extremely difficult to take in for true victims of domestic violence. I was taken from my parents and my whole family was broken up because of it. My mother lost permanent use of fingers on one hand, all of her bones crushed in her left arm replaced with rods and pins from elbow to hand, both on separate incidents. I watched her get hit with a baseball bat, and helped take care of her . I always felt I was responsible to help her most likely due to what I had witnessed. Just growing up seeing it , it changed me , broke my mold and formed a new one each time , each scream, each fight, each sleepless nightond racing wondering if I'm going to find one of my parents dead . I saw her try to cover bruises when we would leave for my grams after a bad one. Everytime a bad fight broke out we'd always go back days or a few weeks later. I remember hearing the blood curdling screams at night lying on my bed, trying to slip past my dad to make it out to get help from neighbors. My mom was hospitalized multiple times , my father was stabbed, my sister and I almost left to the foster system . On the way there in cps van my gram called just as we approved the road to the fosters house. My point being, to lie about something like this for money or any personal gain, a few heated arguments that maybe went just a little to far do not Constatute as domestic violence and anyone who has lived in a household with it could tell u the extreme difference's. If she had any clue how hard it is for woman/children who have to live in that environment and the after effects, and for most average ppl they have no option to get out, weather it be money , kids control , attachment. And there abusers are almost always not arrested in fact on some occasions the woman is arrested for fighting back , my mother was once . Personally I find this whole thing offensive and ignorant . Borderline intolerable for someone who knows what domestic violence really looks like. My mother had bruises covered head to toe after one night , I was home sick with strep to witness that one . Be mindful of your actions and how they can impact others . What if this had caused greater consequences for real victims of domestic violence like legislation being passed? All bc a famous actor came out an made an accusation to gain some popularity and make some $$..

As much as I love Johnny Depp I am finding it difficult to listen to him testify for several reasons. I also don't like seeing her react to him with smiles. She obviously never loved him to put him through so much emotional pain. She doesn't love him enough to leave him alone. The fact that she's willing to do this goes to show how much money she wants from him.
