My passenger window in 2002 Acura TL wobt work. Everything is good. Dealership said its gotta be one of the multiplex units bad. Ordered passenger one off eBay going to replace it first and if that doesn't cure it try the drivers. Thanks for your videos bro
I'm doing this tomorrow. I've had the multiplex for 6 months but have been chasing fuses wires and relays in hopes of finding a solution. So time to bite the bullet. Wish me luck...
You shouldn't have any problems long as you match up the colors of the computer. If your computer is white replace with the white if it's blue put the blue one . The the most important thing is LX and EX are very different. So match up your trim also. Thx
Couldn't you just have switched out the multiplex part and not the whole fuse tray? It does come off from the tray. I just picked up two white multiplex boxes from go pull it cars. Left the fuse trays.
Yes but had issue before it was the fuse box also was burnt why do all that work pulling it all out and the fuse box is still bad replace both and be done... But it's your car your time your money just saying.. especially when you work on these cars every day like me and you do something like this and might work but still more likely will be a come back. I don't like come backs.. 🙄

I have the same problem, getting one from salvage yard tomorrow. 2000 ex. No dash lights but everything else works great.
Same thing happened to me. I was able to switch the pins so the 2002 hazard switch works in the 98.

Yes you have to change whole unit.
Does the multiplex have to be from the same year? I have a 1998 Accord, if I put a multiplex of a 2001 Accord, would there be a problem?

I understand is that the serial number of my multiplex 38800-s84-a200m1 and the one I bought is 38800-s84-a240m1 both blue. Will you have a problem ?

Did swapping out multiplex cause any issues with key to start car up...
No it did not only way it can if you forget to hook up the steering column wiring harness to it red or sometimes brown connector..

So I own a 2002 accord se and put an aftermarket stereo in and blew my multiplex computer
Don't hook up the illumination wire it will do it every time..
