A lot of people in the comments are comparing this to Marantz, saying that Marantz has a better build. Basing this judgement from a CZcams video is a huge mistake. I own one, as well as a couple of high-quality amps. This sounds better than my Yamaha As2200 and my 200-watt Krell Vanguard. Also, even though the Copland weighs 3x lighter than my other amps, it sounds just as robust. Bottom line is, don't judge a component from photos and CZcams videos. The CSA70 is a serious integrated.

Hi Antonio. I'm thinking about buying a used csa70 to partner with some Monitor audio gold 100's. Would you happen to know anything about the synergy between copland and MA?

I have a copland cta 301 mk11, i was wondering what would be the best power amplifier for it, even monoblocks.

Modern amplifiers look and sound great only in good working conditions. Anything goes wrong need to send back to the authorized agent or manufacturer for repair or servicing. If you are a top notch electronic guy, repairing this beauty is out of the equation unless it is a power supply or output stage issue.

They're all the same, a toroidal transformer, a single PC board with surface mount parts, and a small heatsink with one pair of output devices. I see nothing here that makes it worth four times the cost of the Arcam SA10, Audiolab 6000A, or Cambridge CXA61.

@@Zenos174 The CXA61 is actually built a bit beefier than this, with more of a dual mono design. I had a guy tell me that Arcam uses higher quality filter caps than Cambridge, so I went and looked at a website that rates the quality of different caps, and they rated the ones Arcam uses as lower quality cost cutting fourth tier ones, and the Cambridge ones as top quality first tier ones.

@@DougMen1 Is not about what is inside but how it sound. Really, try it even on the built-in DAC, maybe CSA 70 haven't good functionality but the sound... something beutiful, that's why it cost a lot. I compared it with Hegel H190, NAD M10 V2 and even without a integrated streamer, MQA and DSD, Copland defends itself with sound quality, I would have chose the Copland because the sound class is most important part of the amplifier, everything else is just nice add-on. Worth the price.

@@Maciej1983pl Did you feel like it kept up with the h190 in terms of sound quality?

In terms of quality: Yes, but feeling is much different. You have to listen and compare by Yourself. Both are worth Your time.
