    Just spent a great couple of days camping at freshwater, pulling dart out of gutters. Glad I watched this first. Great advice as always, thanks Wayne.

    Great video. What rod holder are you using on your bull bar?

    • @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing
      @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing  Před 2 lety +1

      On the bull bar I use a Wilson detachable holder. About $80 in most tackle shops.

    Thanks for video. Where is the best place to catch tailor?

    • @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing
      @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing  Před 2 lety

      Tailor are very mobile and come and go quickly at many locations. Queens Beach some mornings. Southern end of Margate Beach works occasionally.

    hey mate what type of bait or lures should we use while fishing around double island point what would you recommend?

    • @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing
      @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing  Před 2 měsíci

      Depends on your target species. Summer time I’d be chasing whiting with live worms winter I’d be thinking bream and tailor with pilchard

    When fishing of a night off the beach, is it ok to have a lantern behind you or is that a no no.

    • @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing
      @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing  Před 2 lety

      Depends on the location. If there is normally lots of artificial lights in that area then it’s not an issue. If you’re chasing a species that are attracted to light again no issues. But if the location is nominally only as light as what the moon gives then I would avoid artificial lights on the water.

    Mounting your reels on the front of your vehicle so they get full of dust, sand, and insects is just plain stupid.
