- In today's video we are going to tell you how to keep your aquarium ( Fish Tank ) water crystal clear.
How to fix cloudy water problem in your aquarium and how to fix green water problem in your aquarium.
Following are the methods with the help of this you can keep your aquarium water crystal clear.
1) first of all you should clean your aquarium DISPLAY GLASS.
If something buildup on aquarium glass ( Algae or Dust ) you will not see anything clear inside in your aquarium.
It's must to clean aquarium display glass from inside and outside.
2) CHANGE AQUARIUM WATER once in a week on regular basis ( change only 30% water )
It's one of the the important thing to keep your aquarium water crystal clear, if you do not change aquarium water it will also affect your fish because of your fish waste increases nitrate level in your fish tank and it will affect your fish. Changing 30% of water on regular basis or once in a week do not allow nitrate level in your aquarium tank gobeyond risk level. it also helps to clean your aquarium water crystal clear.
3) FILTER is must in Aquarium
Which type of filter you are using in your aquarium it's very important, if you are using wrong filter in your aquarium then your water will not be cleaned properly.
Use sponge filter & hang on filter for small size of fishes antique type of filter you can use for small size of fish tanks.
For big size fish tank and also for big size fishes you should use canister filter, top up filter, internal filter or power Filter.
This type of filter you can use for goldfish which do more waste ( shit ) then any other fish.
4) which type of FOOD your feeding to your fish.
Most of the people feeding Roti, Chawal to their fishes
But it's not good to feed this type of food to your fish. They will eat that food but some part of food is dissolved in water and it will change water parameters and make water cloudy.
So avoid to feed such type of food try to feed them fish food which is available in aquarium shop. This food is made in such a way that it will not dissolve in water.
OVERFEEDING :- please avoid this term, do not overfeed your fish because the remaining food in fish tank will make water cloudy and also this is not good for your face too.
5) LIGHT in fish tank
light in fish tank is very important factor to keep your aquarium water crystal clear. If you keep running your aquarium light for day and nigh, your water will be greenish. Algae will be develop in your aquarium glasses, stones, substrate.
So fix your aquarium light timing
If you are having planted tank - keep running light for 8 hours ( calculate light requirement for your fish tank according to its size )
If you are having a normal tank with fishes - you can use low intensity light which you can run for 10 hours but if you are having high intensity light in your aquarium in this case you should run light for 6 hours only in a day.
SUBSTRATE - if you are having white substitute aquarium you should use low intensity light otherwise you are white substrate will be green because of algae formation on it.
If you are using black substrate or dark substrate in your aquarium, then you can use high intensity light.
With the help of these methods you can keep your aquarium water crystal clear without any difficulty.

I have recently setup a flowerhorn tank and I need some help in understanding if all is well or I would need some additional filter / light etc.
Is there a way I can get some consultation from an expert? I am open to discuss a paid consultation setup if available.
My ask is this:
1. Evaluate my tank setup (ideally by physically visiting my home in Bangalore or via online meet on Zoom / Google Meet)
2. Help me understand if I am making some mistake with my present setup

Actually on 11th march i have a bought an aquarium its 3 ft. Length with a width of 1 ft and height of 18 inches.
I have put in the bottom the small stone gravels with a water filter at side and a oxygen bar filter at bottom
Behind there is a sticker of plants no plant nothing and i started with two gold fish on 12th of march
Then 18 th march i have added
2 silver shark, 2 silver spots gourami. 2 angel fish
Its going great till 25th march
Then i have added some hexagonal cube white
And till 30th march i was giving food twice a day to the fishes
Yes i agree i am giving little extra feed
My aquarium water becomes cloudy… having little
On 29th march i have added
2 kissing gourami, 2 sucker fish, 2 gold fish, 2 shark soft
Total 16 fish
In that one month span i have change water after every 10 days of 50 percent
In between when there was two gold fish there was some insect flotaing i have put anti fungus medicine
After every water change i am putting aqaurium salt and anti ich and anti cholrine medijcne in water
On 31st march 1 gold fish died suddenly in Night
And after alternate day a spot gourami died
Plz suggest if i am doing wrng

I have 2 tiger barbs(one small and one big) and one rosy
I brought Java fern on Sunday night and introduced it in my tank then on Monday small tiger barb started gasping for air.It could be because I have a sponge filter with slow bubbles.Then when I googled it I found that if light is less then plant takes oxygen from aquarium and gives CO2.Then on Monday night I removed the plant and kept fish as is.Today morning my Fish died 😩I am not able to understand the reason behind it.Is it because of Java fern introduced in tank??

it is not fully correct but you can say
for example if you changed water in your aquarium and there is slightly chlorine present in your water
it will affect more faster in small fishes like Guppy Molly platy tetras
