The quest 1 is mostly based on using ur own strength to become stronger , not borrowing power , this is according to the anime quote .

For the bearer and honored one, a better way to get the standless kill is to use whatever spec, get both of them to really low hp, and then agro the curse npcs and let them kill you so you can respawn/switch to standless without having the boss despawn

If your fighting CID reccomend going to the 2nd boss spawner the one near floating village and kill him with a friend thats what me and my brother did and he didnt despawn or get flinged and i recommend to use dawn, reaper or chronos and dont use any grab skills on him (and additional if you didnt get the slime energy for cid that means you didnt accept the killshadow quest)đ
Question: when you do spawn cid and you didn't kill him. Will you still get the slime even tho you didn't do most of the damage? Or the other player get it.

yall,they updated how to obtain cid u have to do all the quest but,do not spawn cid u have to find a npc called dr burger and he gives a quest,that quest is kil cid and when u complete it he gives the slime energy

I glitched my quest :0 so I canât get cid ever
I wasted 2 days because of White Beard and 10 specs for 2 cursed gems (because i didnt pick up the quest with Burg) and the quest just bugged. Now i have a 100% concluded quest, but its useless because the Burg man want me to kill Cid (that i already killed).
That happened to me aswell I got the Bur quest then I went to spawn him I spawned him and killed him I checked my quest to make sure it said 1/1 for killing cid and it did I went back to Bur and he said "Have you slain Shadow yet???"

Pro tip, Use a Piercing Trait Ope spec, and use MES on a boos. Piercing allows you to do percent damage and mes does extra percent damage, u can do around 2000 dmg per click with the heart in your hands.

I was fighting Cid on the second day the Update came out inside of the Volcano, Cid used "Highest" on me in glitched in the ceiling so i was able to spam Domain expansion and kill him eventually.
Your lucky you could even get to kill cid when I tried he glitched himself under the map and it took me hours work like geting rid of stuff is hard I hope if I do the quest and get rid of what I can cid will be worth it and now white beard has 100k Hp and is lvl 400 now good job tho

There's a method for the slayer quests, get the boss to almost one shot. Then get your friend to hit the boss, that will get the boss aggroed to him. Then switch to standless and kill the boss, that way the boss won't despawn. Rinse and repeat for the rest of the slayer bosses
Lucky, bros boss didn't get sent to the backrooms.
The only thing I found torture about this was the Devs shutting their game down then I fought Cid, then killing Cid without having the new quest đđ

The worst of all is that in the phase to get the cursed gemstone you have to be very careful with the bugs in that mission when sacrificing specs because of a bug when I wanted to sacrifice Locke I also deleted a temporary dawn and a dragon knight true damage what hurt me the most was the loss of dawn that I had to raise it to 37 levels to be able to get temporary seriously this update has been a disaster the worst thing is that the devs do not want to take responsibility for the losses that many players have had
U do the quest when it first come out or what? If then didnt the dev stated that the quest itself is kinda buggy and need time to fix? That doesnt seem like their fault imo
@@Aeris052 I did the mission after they gave maintenance like 4 times. I am aware that there are always bugs from the first moment, but how was I supposed to know that they still haven't solved anything if it was already the 4th time they gave maintenance?
to anyone who has read this comment, potentially you could actually trade your dawn or other stands to a friend or alt that can be deleted so it will only delete the stand you chose

Tip for doing bosses:
Use Ope Mes, it deals alot of dmg for high hp bosses
U can't use it on law, or cid most bosses can't be damaged by moves that only hit one person at once
Personally, just used the hexed ryoiki trait, it basically stops the boss from stunning or grabbing you

2099 was my main thing that I was trying to get, but I'm gonna wait until I get back home so I don't have to defeat all those bosses for cid
when the cid boss came back from being buggy, i did the quest, killed wb for bisento, spawned cid, and got it and in that same day got asc 15 and spiritual on it. atomic takes 50 heat and everything else takes under 50 heat lmaođ
The boss rush was lightwork, the whitebeard is easier now cuz its a higher chance drop. But the sacrificing was just straight pain, the stuff you need to sacrifice shot up, especially xeno. And the cid boss is annoying as shit with the atomic spam.
Worst part is if you forget to talk to this random burger guy, you don't get the slime energy

Ok so, thereâs also a quest you can get that grants rewards for killing shadow along side the actual shadow quest. I did not know that by picking them both up that cid would not drop his slime automatically, like he would if you only grab the main quest,but instead the other npc would hold onto the slime until you talk to them. I went through the stages of grief before I randomly talked to him and he gave me the slime.

Hell nah this cid quest was TRULY NIGHTMARE. The most easy part was killing all bosses on standless (i killed them ONLY on standless) and the most hardest is BISENTO. I killed whitebeard like 11-12 times and NO bisento. i traded Xeno for it........ But Cid ability is truly goat! (uhh yeah and Cid boss is nigthmare too especually second phase)

I hate this game so much after I grinded this whole day of course there has to be a quest to "Kill Cid" that I didnt even know about.

I juat started and i finally levelled up my standless to 200 and now we have to kill all boss which is easy but wtf we need abilities for sacrifice đ
The quest itself isn't even that bad
Quest 1 is relativelly easy if you know your stuff (Didn't have problems with any boss, except Honored One, which I beat second attempt due to my stupidity and refusal to heal)
Quest 2 is more rng-dependant. As Prisoners are very easy to kill (Run when they use bombs, pull does not stun so you can attack), but Whitebeard's Bisento is where problem starts, as you need to be one of those who deal at least 10-15% and hope to get one (Spawns every 3 hours)
Quest 3 is a freebie if you have all the abilities required
The real problem is Cid himself... boss tended to fling and softlock the bossfight due to inability to deal any damage anymore, and some people even reported to boss disappearing after using a few moves, which he shouldn't usually do. + he is the most unfair in the game. Reward is pretty good though..
(And for those who want to attempt, they have changed the requirement, now you ALSO need to take Bur's quest to get Slime Energy, so keep that in mind)
As for Whitebeard, it's quite obvious. You need to deal at least 10% to recieve rewards. Use the ability you are best with, but consider abilities with these traits:
Assassin - Obvious choice. You deal more damage if boss has more health, a to-go perk if you are under Ascension 5
Buff - 15% Damage Boost overall. Gotta try a bit more than assassin, but overall an obvious choice.
RCT - For those who are a bit more grindy. Healing mid-fight will save some time returning to boss later when you die in exchange for non-constant usage of high heat requirement abilities.
Vampiric - Heal from damaging the boss. Since you will spend all of your time dealing damage anyways, a good replacement to stay alive longer.
Cursed - If you have a Hexed Cursed, you will become a literal glass cannon, yet you will get damaged a lot anyway, so why not
With no boss knowledge and 0 souls, I dealt more than 10% damage with Assassin Reaper, maybe try using that one (as my personal recommendation)
