American LeMans was definitely a higher caliber series. The NASCAR group is going to have all the Daytona prototypes at the front. It's too bad I think we lost a good thing.

I really want the LMP2 cars to be more competitive :(. Even Muscle Milk cannot seem to compete. I hope they further improve the difference, I love the variety in class, but it needs to be more balanced.
to be honest, muscle milk could barely keep up on pace with the esm cars
Brrnout they were, occasionally, on the pace of the DPs. But it only took a couple of races for IMSA to get it right, which I think shows just how good IMSA did.
That caution with 20 minutes to go was totally unnecessary.
This might seem weird, even kinda sick, but I like watching serious accidents like the one with Memo and Matteo because they leave me with a sense of awe at what we've achieved in crashworthiness and survivability. I'm truly sorry they were so badly hurt, and I felt sick when I first saw it, but the engineering that saved their lives reflects one of the most incredible technological advances we've ever made, and that technology is saving lives on the streets around the world, in aircraft, and everywhere else where any vehicle hits anything. That's many millions of lives, I'm sure, from roll cage and crumple zone technology to seat belts and helmet design. If they can survive that crash, what else can we do? (Compare that crash with the one that took Dale Earnhardt just 13 years earlier.)

mauownage is this the revelation that he did Mini Stocks years ago?I don't think he would as he did with his brother Joe who died so it might be a very emotional experience for him. And no Porsche StockCar.

It does not look like a Corvette !
You're probably referring to the Daytona Prototype. There is a Corvette and Ford Ecoboost DP. Otherwise you have the C7R which is the yellow car, which is a Corvette.

The DP or C7R?The DP has little styling connection to a Corvette, only technological. The C7.R is the race version of the road C7.
