It's the Mosconi cup my guy, nobody acts like this anywhere else. It's all in good fun and nobody, players included, take that stuff seriously. It might be cheekily rude, but I hardly see it as toxic behavior.

Do you guys think they’re more common in snooker because of the size of the table and the smaller balls? Or the sheer tenacity in training defense?
@@pjtyra2106 I feel like it's the added focus of safety play, it's sooo much easier to run out in 8 and 9 ball than to clear up in snooker. Also, it's much harder to play these precise safety shots given the smaller ball size and the size of the table so it's easier to play safety shots in 8 and 9 ball. It just makes snooker players so impressive
Andrew Singer thanks for the reply man I gotta say that I went from being a big Ronnie 147 viewer to a snooker escape fan! Gary Wilson is amazing to watch. Ding’s safeties are incredible. Really love the sport! I’m just a casual 8 ball league player myself.
@@pjtyra2106 Yeah gary wilson's escapes are incredible, love watching selby's tactical game as well. You should try to find a local billiards hall with a snooker table and try it out! You can't fully grasp how big the table is and how hard it is to play until you actually try for yourself. I would highly recommend!

It's only happening at the Mosconi Cup. Don't extrapolate behaviors seen here to mean that the person acts in the same manner in other events. I don't see it anywhere else. It's all good fun here.
I'm not sure why this happens, but it is always annoying to watch recent Mosconi Cup matches. Audiences are inevitably filled with low IQ a-holes, loudly farting and smelling their fingers for their own rancid stench. The only way to watch Mosconi matches is with the sound muted, or just skip it altogether.

Great video but some of the safeties are very simple and even lucky (cueball accidentally bumping another ball and going safe) wouldn't title it as "best". Still a great watch and thanks.

I LUUUV Pool--I prefer it to Snooker... but that's a talent-biased choice (i.e. I lack the talent for Snooker). So that said and having watched Snooker players do wayyyyyyyyy harder shit on a table that's over 12 feet long, I'm forced to say: this is kindergarten stuff.
Focus these videos on the cool shit that Pool players pull off all the time like jump shots, stupid-level masse shots, squeeze shots, unbelievable canons, run-outs that just shouldn't have happened, etc... not this.
You start playing pool and make it to the mosconi cup and then maybe you have an opinion on this kindergarten stuff lol.
