    "Is it hoarding behavior?"
    Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......
😂 I laughed so hard when you called yourself out. I absolutely save every nursery pot I come cross though cuz literally, I never have the size I need when I need it so eventually it's gonna work out, right?? 😅
I just found your channel recently but I've enjoyed every video so far, I LOVE how thrifty you are! I never seem to find fellow plant people who are thrifty like me 😊 you've got some great tips too! Keep it up 🙌

I started working at a local hardware store last year. We sale all kinds of plants and vegetables in the spring. I ended up with almost more than I could keep up with. I had 12 tomato plants and I hate them. Keep all the plants alive!

I know that feeling! Hate the idea of them being thrown out… even plants and veggies I hate 😅

I try to save the plastic nursery pots for nonfood items. I try to use containers that are either of safe natural materials or from food safe materials. So I use terracotta pots, biodegradable cardboard but my favorite for herbs and small editables are recycled whiskey barrels. Beware there are some companies that will take old wine/ whiskey barrels but then add wood treatments that may not be food safe. From what I can tell the official Jack Daniel's whiskey barrel containers don't seem to be treated but just cut in half. The longer vertical cut for shorter root edibles like mint or basil. The deeper barrels that are cut horizontal are great for not just deeper roots but also thirsty plants like blueberries!

Also I am sure the neighbors think we are hoarders because of the pile of propagating materials on the side of our house 😅😂

Great advice! I love recycling items, especially from natural material as well ❤️

I don’t consider it hoarding if it’s being put to good use. It’s recycle management

thing is i checked into that and only 15 percent of all the plastic we send to recycle is actually used for reclycling, the rest goes in the landfill or is,dumped in the ocean, so when you take plastic to really recycle, they dont actually recycle it, sadly i found out, that is why i use glass or terra cotta or glaze, cause those i keep and use over and over, only the plastic ones i use, that are hard plastic that i can keep and clean easily
