- In this video we will show how to remove and install Coils, Armature, and Magnetos On Small Engines Briggs & Stratton Vanguard used For the Demo But the video is very relevant for many other models and brands of engines with similar coil setups. Many Briggs and Stratton Vanguards, Intek as well as most all other electronic ignition (no points) ignition use coil setups like this. I have a vanguard v16 doesn't turn over with the ignition and no spark. Does turn over by jumping the solenoid.
