Oiran Full Makeover and Photoshoot in Tokyo

- ** Please note I incorrectly referred to an Oiran as a Geisha in my video and realized this after my recording. Geishas and Oirans dress differently and also have distinct roles. ;)

Get ready with me as I transform into a real Oiran in Tokyo wearing a 30 Ib. kimono.
Historically, female Japanese GEISHAS were professional entertainers and practitioners of the ancient Japanese arts in dance, music, song, and the social graces most notably while hosting at VIP dinners and banquets in the evening. OIRAN were high status courtesans who practiced their particular nocturnal skills in a somewhat different manner, which did not require the striking white face paint.
They did a sensational make up on you. You look 20 years younger and almost as if you had had plastic surgery. This is phenomenal !
Well I am sure it is easier to make an already beautiful woman even more beautiful with this complete makeover but they transformed you into a fairytale Princess! Love that style!

You look so pretty as an oiran! Which studio did you go to? The people there look very friendly. :3 I'll be going to Tokyo later this year and though I wasn't really thinking of doing an oiran makeover... this video might change my mind. ^_^
Just a note though, geisha is not the same as oiran. Oiran are courtesans, whereas geisha are not. ^^
@AThousandTales thanks for your kind message. The studio name is in Japanese characters :( but there are lots of studios in Kyoto and Tokyo that offer the same service!

Wow, what a gorgeous transformation! I was waiting for the white paint and red eyes, but this was more modern and I guess with white skin already the paint is unnecessary. Imagine the luxury of having women to do you up like this everyday!

Orian makeup is very different. It should be entirely white with just the lips done in red and the eyebrows done in black. Exposed skin is done in white

I didn’t think I would like the makeup lady but she did good except for blending under chin and neck but she is good.
